Abgrund has been out for a few days now and I just wanted to get a few things off my chest.

When I found out that Consvmer was looking for a new vocalist, I immediately booked a recording session with @aaron.hiegle and applied the very next day after @gustavowave finished the video (Slide 9).
When positive feedback came back and we arranged to record together, I was ridiculously nervous. I arrived at Fabo’s place, Fischer opened the door, and welcomed me warmly right away. That evening, using the lyrics I had prepared, we recorded "Einsam" and "Gift."
I got the call that I was in while I was playing a small open-air festival with @burymyinsanity . When Fabo called me, he was super excited because we had also clicked really well on a personal level.

But naturally, big changes like this bring up doubts. In between. I struggled immensely with my vocals, my self-confidence and honestly my mental state in general. I felt like I was unlearning everything I knew vocal-wise. Over and over, I asked myself if I could truly do the band justice. To be honest, those doubts and that struggle are only now slowly fading.

Now, I’m just grateful. Grateful to @consvmer_official @fischer_consvmer @dee_consvmer for giving me a chance. I want to thank @fabo_consvmer for taking my doubts seriously during every recording session and for pushing me to bring out my absolute best. Thank you to my fiancée @laracharnas for always listening whenever I had something weighing on my heart regarding the band. I’m so happy to call these guys my friends now and I can’t wait to hit the road with them. On that note, shoutout to @guitarristnextdoor for organizing and planning the tour with us - without you, our trip in October wouldn’t be happening! Also thank you to @_acker_mane_ . We got along great right from the start, and talking through the old songs and their vocal parts helped me a lot. Your praise meant a lot to me!
