We are starting our fourth season as Better Together Dance and one of my adult dancers came in ready for her first ballet class in years. Leotard, tights, and hair in a bun. I've been thinking about dressing the ballet teacher role for my littles this season and seeing this mom walk in proud to dance, I felt it was time. I got my ballet skirt a few years ago but I got a new leotard and ballet sweater last week. Seeing myself in the mirror with my black ballet dress, it took me back to little Desiree so excited to start her dance journey. Here I am 32 years later, 3 full dance sessions as director/owner under my belt, and watching my girls grow through our studio together.

Listen to your inner child, take the ballet class, buy the uniform, and let yourself be free to express what you haven't in so many years 💚
