The photographic series REVELATION (2024) by @danilaparniouk appears across key sections of the TEKTΩN publication, enclosing its chapters and framing its inquiry. Concrete surfaces, shadows and structural details operate as a visual threshold — returning the reader, repeatedly, to the material presence of the Carob Warehouse. In this sense, REVELATION acts almost as a shell: containing, protecting and structurally reinforcing the publication’s engagement with this modernist landmark. // Η φωτογραφική σειρά REVELATION (2024) του Danila Parniouk διατρέχει κομβικές ενότητες της έκδοσης TEKTΩN, περικλείοντας τα κεφάλαιά της και πλαισιώνοντας τον ερευνητικό της άξονα. Οι επιφάνειες του σκυροδέματος, οι σκιές και οι δομικές λεπτομέρειες λειτουργούν ως οπτικό κατώφλι — επαναφέροντας τον αναγνώστη στη υλική υπόσταση της Αποθήκης Χαρουπιών. The time and labour that went into this flag is honestly wild. Some might say it’s just a white flag with a blue moon, but it’s far from that. Barlic’s logo is double hand-stitched, and the flag itself is double-sided so it’s visible from both directions. That means six layers, all perfectly aligned and joined by a single seam.
