Everyone has a different reason to why they chase the ultimate physique. Some of us see an individual that we’d like to mimic and do just that. For me growing up in the city it first started out as a power struggle.
I wanted to be stronger and better looking than the majority. 😅😅😅 Sounds bad I know but I’m just being honest.
What sparked this was when my good friend @mattlock762 came in to pay his bill at T-Mobile when I worked retail... He had been lifting weights for a few months and had gained a respectable amount of size that was very noticeable.
After that I went on a hunt to acquire all the workout equipment I could. I was given a considerable amount of weights from @deeflatmajor as he was moving from Kansas City. -
At the time I lived with @geehill816 he was very supportive he never once complained about me lifting weights in our apartment or always talking about lifting and the things I wanted to accomplish and looking back as I get older I’m very thankful for him being who he is. -

Showed me the competition life and put me on my first stage and made me realize I had what it takes to win. 💯💯

Sometimes we forget about the people who inspired us I later met @ajellison who taught me worth ethic was extremely important. I’ve yet to see someone work harder through adversity in the gym under pressure...
This is why I never really get too out of shape (Plus he will roast me) Of course being a better man is the goal and being a role model in front of my children. My wife however @iambeatricehenry is the realMVP as we all know bodybuilding is a very selfish sport. How did she deal. 😂🤣😂
I will never claim to be the guy that did it all alone so many helped. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
