We’re so excited to welcome Frida’s Cocina back! After some mechanical issues, our favorite big, blue truck is *back*** on Russell, so stop by and get some delicious tacos today and tomorrow. 🌮💙

Dead Feathers • Rujen • VBIV
▪️▫️ $15 • 6pm • All Ages

Chicago’s Dead Feathers bring heavy psych rock and soulful vocals. The group sets a sensual and thunderous energy on stage through the use of fuzz and reverb-backed guitars, ever flowing bass lines and booming drums.

Atlanta five-piece Rujen draws from ‘70s psychedelic rock, pop and soul to create their “east coast band with a west coast sound.” Milwaukee’s VBIV crafts hazy, retro-future soundscapes full of neon-drenched synth, soaring guitars and reverb-heavy vocals.

Transport v. 9: James Nasty & DJ Ando & Queen Méabh & Language Models
▪️▫️ $10 • 8:30pm • 18+

**DRESS TO SWEAT** Hot and heavy low pressure beatwave from Baltimore makes its way Midwestward where it’s forecasted to swirl into collaboration with Milwaukee’s predictably housey climate. In other headlines, studies show that weather and music are both made of air pressure.

Featuring sets by Baltimore’s James Nasty, Basque-region icon DJ Ando, local favorite Queen Méabh, and, as always, our fabulous host Language Models.

Transport v. 9: James Nasty • DJ Ando • Queen Méabh • Language Models

Thursday, July 17 • Cactus Club • 8:30pm • $10 • 18+

**DRESS TO SWEAT** Hot and heavy low pressure beatwave from Baltimore makes its way Midwestward where it’s forecasted to swirl into collaboration with Milwaukee’s predictably housey climate. In other headlines, studies show that weather and music are both made of air pressure. Whatever that means.

830: Queen Méabh kicks things off with groovy French house staples and influences to loosen our hips and tickle our toes and open up those crusty souls.

930: DJ Ando joins with eclectic house that satisfies like Pintxos and refreshes like Txakoli, yummmm delicious! Hooks, horns, breaks, pop remixes and basslines; sometimes the simple things are mighty fine. Hands up, heads down, working that thing all around: music for dancing that joins Basque Country to the Midwest.

1030: James Nasty, musical multiplicity and maestro of Baltimore Club, is handling peak freak hours. He’s packing mountains of sub, naughty streams of sampled consciousness, thundering claps, and an intricate thicket of polyrhythms. Hold tight to your booty - it’s liable to shake itself right off.

12: t1ck, as always, will be spinning clockwise like a record until close to delay as long as possible your return to “the real world”, which spins counterclockwise.

Presales in bio,
<3

The Bassment series is taking a little summer trip to the midwest of the United States. ✈️
Join Shamgod$upreme and DJ Ando for a night of rap, hip hop and r&b in the Third Ward neighborhood of Milwaukee and Gibraltar bar. It’s a perfect spot to hit up after Summerfest.
