2025 was one of the busiest seasons I’ve experienced at LAFC, but I’m incredibly proud of what we were able to accomplish as a club and how we showed up time and time again for every challenge and opportunity.

Our group is filled with ambition, and looking back at the work of the past year I’m so happy with how many ideas we were able to bring to fruition and the general successes achieved during an especially hectic season. Here are a handful of my favorite projects that I was able to be a part of this season. Team credits included in previous posts (I attempted to tag everyone involved in each slide, but it turns out there is a cap. Will share any outliers in stories!).

A quick edit attempting to show how much work went into this project. @hdezerick initiated a conversation towards the end of last season looking to design a custom typeface inspired by art deco for LAFC. From there he led as he, @deelopez_designs and I designed and shaped a custom typeface with 1000+ characters in roughly a month.

There is nothing that can fully articulate how large of an undertaking this was, especially within the timeframe we had with other projects flooding in. This typeface accommodates characters from numerous languages in 5 distinct styles, monospaced to work in-stadium, every letter meticulously shaped anchor point by anchor point, handle by handle. I’m incredibly proud to have had the opportunity to be a part of this project, especially getting to work with these two who did something most wouldn’t even entertain, let alone do with so much care. 🖤💛
