HAPPY BDAY @deemlaow!!

On October 6th, 2023, we officially opened our doors and the rest is history. @supreeboom asked me to take a leap of faith on this concept with him, and every day I’m thankful I did.

Forever grateful to our friends, family, regulars, our amazing staff, and everyone who’s ever stopped by and supported us along the way. Thank you for helping us keep this thing going! 🫡

Now to celebrate… (check the last slide 👀)

Cheers to 3 years and here’s to the rest! 🥂 SABAI SABAI

Sometimes Hale Moku leaves the island. 🌴

Last night we made the short voyage to @deemlaow in The Village, Oklahoma.

Thai flags overhead, tropical greenery, warm lights, plenty of rum behind the bar—and even on a Friday night, the whole place had an easy, laid-back vibe.

Naturally, we started with the tiki cocktails. 🍹

The Singapore Sling — gin, Bénédictine, Grand Marnier, Cherry Heering, bitters, lime and soda — was tall, refreshing and just what we wanted to start the evening.

Then the Chi Chi: vodka, macadamia nut liqueur, cream of coconut, pineapple and fresh coconut water, served in that fantastic glass. 🗿🌺

But this expedition wasn’t just about the drinks.

We started with fresh summer rolls, followed by crab puffs — folded wontons with a fresh, light crab Rangoon-style filling.

Then came the chicken pineapple fried rice: spicy, savory and sweet seemingly all at once. 🍍🌶️

Good food. Good tropical drinks. A relaxed Friday night. And SpongeBob quietly holding court on the TV behind the bar. 🍍

It’s always fun to find a little tropical escapism without having to leave Oklahoma.

Hale Moku will sail home for now…

…but there are still a few drinks on that tiki menu we haven’t tried. 🌴🍹

@deemlaow FRIENDS & FAMILY - DO U RECOGNIZE THIS PERSON??
This morning between 5:20am-5:30am they broke in and stole the safe, a cash drawer, and damaged our property in the process. If you have any info plz shoot me a message 😔

Also looks like he has a machete or something…(?) and is wearing a purple sweater that has way too wide of a collar/neck situation going on.
