🪩 Disco Never Dies! Disco House Keeps It Alive!
This week we start off pretty damn funky, but I’m also giving you some deeper more soulful side of disco house. The new Dexter Troy remix of Muttonheads came out last week, and I’m absolutely obsessed with this one. Killer bass sound and line, funky vocal chops and it just grooves.
Jay Vegas never disappoints, and this track is no exception. If you like a little bit of Latin flavor in your disco house - then you’re gonna LOVE this track. He had me hooked with the bass line.
You already know I’m a Serge Funk fan - and this new one on Groove Culture is just a deep disco pocket of happiness.
Deep Fried Disco is a Manchester artist who is making a come back after some time away from production - and this track feels the closest to a TRUE DISCO tune out of the five for this week. He’s been a big supporter of mine and I appreciate that so much.
This MGR Mike tune feels a bit introspective - which is refreshing in a genre known for party music. I know MGR Mike through our mutual buddy Goshfather - and together they formed Discoluminati - an independent disco house label and the associated producer community. We’re all just a big happy family making funky music.
