Queer Social is excited to present : Lizsco on Aug 15!

Lizsco's curation ability resonates with a wide variety of audiences for the ultimate eclectic groove. From
the dark side of disco, to hypnotic & hardgroove techno, she unapologetically pushes her unique blend of
selections. Featuring obscure beats and sounds, each track is relentlessly danceable and will keep you
engaged from the first record to the last.
Based in Columbus, Ohio, Lizsco began her journey as a DJ in 2019. She has taken stage with some of
the best underground techno artists along with significant national acts such as Azzecca, Andi, Calvin
Stanley, Henry Brooks, Mija, and No Mana.
In 2020, she co-founded the record label and event series Deep Field XP. She simultaneously debuted
her own disco-focused event ‘Filthy/Gorgeous’ in 2024 which drew from her roots in disco and post-punk
genres to effortlessly blend indie dance, dark disco, italo and classic disco sounds.
Over the years she has become a strong advocate for women in the music industry which was amplified
through her work in the Columbus chapter of Walking & Falling - a dj workshop series & mentorship
program open to any woman or nonbinary identifying person.

July 11th Queer Social presents Jenny Arcade at @cocktailscleveland

One of Ohio’s finest, Columbus-based Jenny Arcade has spent the last decade mixing records. She brings her sparkling punk DIY attitude to the dancefloors. When she was about 14 years old she was booking hardcore shows. Never losing that drive to present music, she has created and promoted various parties like Trou De Loup, Strut, and Little Beat. Jenny Arcade has held residency in the Disco Room at one of North American’s most valued parties, Midwest Fresh. For five years you could find her among the shelves of Roots Records working as a buyer and manager, and spent an equal amount of time managing and booking for Double Happiness. She also ran a radio show at WCRS called Mixed Emotions. Jenny Arcade has a zero bullshit attitude, and does everything in her strength to encourage and empower the women and queer folks in her community. She participated in Chicago’s Walking and Falling workshop which teaches women and nonbinary people the art of DJing. With that experience she created a W&F chapter for Columbus in 2018. Currently Jenny is curating events and co running a women run collective and record label out of Columbus called Deep Field.

Jenny Arcade pushes the envelope in sound and with versatility. From disco to acid to techno, a set from Jenny Arcade is equal parts emotional and sassy, and she is not to be fucked with.
