My goal for my skate meetup today was to be in community with people and that goal was met 100%. The weather was perfect and everyone came with the mind to play, move, laugh freely, smile (or not!) freely, and have a time together. Good times! We'll be back again next month!

FREE BEFORE 40 SPOTLIGHT: DR. KEVIN WALKER

Y'all know I couldn't celebrate five years of Free Before 40 without talking about this man: my husband, my best friend, my better half! Dr. Kevin Walker.

Kevin has been with me through EVERY stage of Free Before 40. I'm talking about when it was just a concept of a plan (lol). The moments when I knew exactly what God was telling me to do…and the moments when I was still trying to figure it out.

Kevin is an engineer, strategist, coach and speaker—and if you know him, you know his mind is INCREDIBLE.

And there is nobody better to stand beside me as we talk about freedom than the person who has had a front-row seat to my own journey toward it.

This year, Kevin is stepping into a new role at Free Before 40 as one of the leaders of our Men's Freedom Segment.

And this means so much to me.

Because Free Before 40 has always been about women becoming healthy, happy, and whole.

But over these five years, something has become increasingly clear to me: Freedom cannot stop with us.

We want healthy relationships.

We want healthy families.

We want healthy communities.

And we want the men we love—our husbands, partners, fathers, sons, brothers, and friends—to know that THEIR freedom matters too.

So from 2–4:30 PM, the men will have their own space to talk. Connect. Eat. Laugh. Learn. Think. And explore what freedom can look like for THEM.

I couldn't imagine launching this part of the vision without Kevin helping to lead it.

Free Before 40 is an assignment God placed in my heart…But He never said for me to carry it alone.

Kevin, thank you for being evidence of that. Thank you for believing in me, for covering me, for strategizing with me. And thank you for being the best husband!

FREE BEFORE 40 SPOTLIGHT: DANIELLE GUILLORY

One of the things I have learned on my own freedom journey is that you can understand something in your mind - and still be carrying it in your body.

That is one of the MANY reasons I am so grateful that Danielle Guillory is returning to Free Before 40 for her FOURTH YEAR.

Danielle is a trauma-informed speaker, speaker coach, wellness coach, somatic practitioner and doula. Those are just some of her roles, but let me tell you more about her gifts.

She has this beautiful ability to help us slow down enough to notice what our bodies are saying while our hearts and minds are doing all this healing, dreaming, processing, and becoming.

She reminds us that freedom isn't just intellectual.

Freedom has movement, breath, rhythm.
AND freedom lives in the BODY!

And Danielle KNOWS the movement of freedom.

Year after year, I have watched her help the women of Free Before 40 connect what we are learning in our minds with what we are experiencing in our hearts and carrying in our bodies.

She helps make the room feel safe.

She helps us come back to ourselves.

She helps us breathe.

She helps us move.

And she helps us remember that sometimes freedom doesn't look like doing MORE. Sometimes freedom looks like finally feeling safe enough to release.

I am so grateful that God has allowed our gifts and our work to intersect in this way. Because when I think about what I want Free Before 40 to be, I don't just want women to leave with great notes.

I want you to have an experience.

I want something to shift.

I want you to recognize what you've been carrying.

I want you to dream again.

I want you to tell yourself the truth.

I want you to MOVE.

And I want your mind, heart AND body to know:

Sis…you are FREE!

Danielle, thank you for bringing your wisdom, your gentleness, your MAGIC, and your grounding presence into this space for four years. Free Before 40 is better because you are in the room.

Ladies who will be in the space, bring your journal, your dreams, your whole self. And wear something you can MOVE in.

Y’all… Free Before 40 2026 is NEXT SATURDAY!

And as I sit here thinking about everything that has happened to bring us to YEAR FIVE, all I can say is…

LOOK WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE!

At every turn, I have watched God allow things to fall into place. The right people. The right resources. The right timing. The right connections.

And I am SO grateful.

It is an absolute honor to walk alongside women on this journey toward becoming healthy, happy, whole, and FREE. And I believe next Saturday is going to be a transformational experience.

We’re going to DREAM.
We’re going to get HONEST about where we are.
We’re going to decide what’s NEXT.
And then… WE’RE GOING TO CELEBRATE!

Celebrating Freedom: Honoring the Journey & Embracing What’s Next

When I say that it was a vibe…It was a classy, grown and sexy vibe. The music and libations. Not to mention the imperial oysters! The artists were amazing and @taharkabros for dessert. Ooooh yes! And our table was THE vibe‼️What’s next!!??

Had an amazing time at @goodfolks_happyhour at Baltimore Museum of Art. Sat at a table with some beautiful black women. We met as strangers but left with great vibes, high vibrational energy and black joy. This is what black women over 40 look and feel like.

Im so excited! One of the greatest joys of what I do is helping women recognize the power of their voice, embrace the message God has given them, and confidently share it with the world.

This Saturday, I get to celebrate with some women who have been working hard to use their voice, show up authentically, and make an impact!

Since Next Level launched in February, I have had the incredible honor of serving as one of the Resident Speaker Coaches alongside another amazing coach, supporting the vision of THEE, Dr. Kristen Guillory!

Over the past several months, I've had a front-row seat to watch the women in Next Level grow—not just as speakers, but as leaders, storytellers, and women who are choosing to show up fully as themselves. They have done the work, stretched themselves, encouraged one another, and stepped into new levels of confidence. I couldn't be prouder.

These women are powerhouses! And listen, don't take my word for it, come check them out on Saturday! Come celebrate them. Come be inspired by their stories. Come support them as they walk boldly in purpose and freedom.

Dr. G, thank you for trusting me to support your vision. Kimberly, thank you for being an awesome fellow resident coach. And ladies of the 2026 Next Level cohort, it has been a true honor to walk alongside you and watch you shine.

Everybody, use the link in the comments to register for the showcase!

I'm honored to be serving as a workshop presenter at the Beauty for Ashes Women's Conference 2026 in Belcamp, Maryland!

If you've ever felt like you've been shrinking to fit expectations, questioning who you are, or longing to confidently walk as the woman God created you to be, this conference is for you.

I'll be leading two interactive breakout sessions centered around my signature M.A.G.I.C.™ Mindset Framework, a transformational approach designed to help women reconnect with who they truly are and boldly show up with confidence, authenticity, and purpose.

At the heart of it all is this truth from Psalm 139:14: You are fearfully and wonderfully made. You don't have to become someone else—you simply need the courage to become who God has already created you to be.

I'd love to see you on July 17-18! If you're ready to be refreshed, encouraged, and equipped to walk boldly in your God-given identity, register today.

Grab your ticket, invite a sister, daughter, mother, or friend, and join us for what promises to be a powerful weekend of worship, healing, transformation, and triumph.

🎟️ Register today at: LOVEFCC.ORG (or scan the QR code on the flyer!)

If you're coming, let me know in the comments—I can't wait to worship, learn, and grow with you!
