How do you jump a fence on a mound? 👀

It’s all about the correct canter, line and rider body position. ECP Coach Emily Mastervich explains exactly how to tackle this question on the USEA American Eventing Championships Novice guided course walk, brought to you by @fairhillsaddlery.

I’m feeling super grateful to have been given the opportunity to participate in the @useventing EA21 program again this year. It was really rewarding to see how Henry and I have progressed and made changes in our partnership since last year‘s clinic. I have gained quite a few tools for my tool box. Thank you to all of the selectors and sponsors that make this program what it is. Thank you @deeppurpleeventing and @mmc338 for giving up your time and pouring into this group of young riders.

Horizontal look on EA U21 camp.
A huge thank you to @useventing for allowing us this opportunity to learn from the best, David Oconnor, all week. Thank you @caidynsmother for allowing me to ride and learn on beloved Milo. Thank you to all the regional coaches and everyone on the EA 21 committee and around the program.
I know I’m not alone when I say this program has shaped us as more than just riders but individuals and horsewomen. This was my last year on under 21s, as I’m aging out and reflecting back, I am just so incredibly grateful. I could go on for hours about the education side of the equation, and as many of you know, school is not my strong suit, but studying horses is something that I will never lose interest in. A couple people have asked me what my biggest takeaways are from the past five years being in this program, and I think my simple answer is my core beliefs. I will continue to be a student of the sport, and always want to keep learning.

Thank you too sweet Dixie south for allowing us on your beautiful facility all week. Thank you to all the amazing sponsors. Thank you @atalyaboytnerphotography and @impulsionmedia_ for all of the lovely pictures, videos, and words of wisdom. It was so nice meeting this group of athletes. Best of luck to all of you in the new year! And as always a huge thank you to these horses and the support group I have around me. None of these things would be possible without all of you guys. ❤️

This past week I had the opportunity to participate in the EA21 National Camp in Ocala alongside a group of extremely talented riders, and I’m leaving feeling excited to build upon everything I learned! ✍️✍️

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this experience possible, especially David O’Connor for his continued dedication to supporting and educating the next generation of our sport, and Kate Lokey for all of the behind the scenes coordination that kept everything running smoothly.

A special thank you as well to the coaches who traveled to support us - @becbraitling, @deeppurpleeventing, @janbyyny, @ashlandequestrian, and @rbriding.

This experience was also made possible through the support of @sarakoz_equestrian and her team 🙏- thank you for trusting me with your absolute gem of a horse, Jerry❤️💎

Lastly, a HUGE thank you to @atalyaboytnerphotography and her team for capturing such beautiful photos throughout the week, and to @useventing for providing and supporting this incredible opportunity. 🇺🇸
