POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
I call it “kicking the can” but as an artist and songwriter, I feel like I spend so much time with my head down trying to move my career forward that I forget to look up and take a second to be thankful for how the scenery around me has changed… well, consider this me “looking up.”

Tomorrow marks 2 weeks of “Way Things Work” w/ @thecastellows being out in the world and never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined all the support this song would receive… I’m blown away.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who has showed it love/streamed it so far- it truly means the world to me!! Also, a huge thanks to my team at Deep Roots Management, Make Wake Artists, and Kaeleah Isaac at The Oriel Co. for all of the hard work they put in behind the scenes to make this the release it was. It takes a village. Much love and as always, here goes something🙏🏼

The response to the record has been nothing short of amazing and I wanna say a big ole thank you to everyone that has called, texted, posted, shared, and all the other inter-web ways of showing love. I don’t take for granted the folks that have been in my corner from day one and I’m certainly grateful for all the newcomers in tow! Life is a wildly attractive adventure. Big ole bear hugs to y’all. Cheers

The feeling never changes when releasing records. The excitement of sharing them, the camaraderie of the band, the texts and calls from family and friends, and the one moment in our career when we get to say, “Here it is. This is us.”

I usually lean into the smart-ass side of me, but all jokes aside, I’m incredibly grateful for all the hard work from the band, Josh Serrato, Carley du Menil, my management, my agent, and the patience my wife and family have shown throughout this project.

You won’t find a happier Red today.

I hope y’all find some time today or this weekend to give it a listen. “Hard Land” is now yours. Cheers!

In honor of the new Flatland Album, “Work of Heart” , here’s some BTS from last May.

Loved the recording process on this album with @dwightabaker at Matchbox Studios in Austin. It was an honor to put some flair on these songs with the rest of the guys - Not to mention having a fun write with Reid and Cleto on “Flicker”.

Sonically, FC went to some new places that have been yearning to get out. I fell in love with the A&F kit that was in studio, so I had to get one for myself and take it on the road this year. Can’t lie it looks and sounds baller. ✊🏼

Couldn’t help but feel like I was in the right place at the right time when so many familiar faces, friends, and family popped in to hang for a bit. Totally reaffirming.

We’ve got a full tour this year So come catch us out in your neck of the woods. Let’s make a moment together.✊🏼

Peace & Blessin’s
Jason
