South Florida’s DEEPSLATE. They push the possibilities of OSDM with swirling chaos reminiscent of Disgorge (US) and Suffocation, while bringing an aggressive edge that draws not only from Slayer but also the catchiness of Dying Fetus. Maybe their frequent shows with bands from different genres have sharpened their sense for hooks, because there are memorable turns throughout their songs.
