O F F R O A D - What a truly amazing experience! What the Defender can do is unbelievable! It’s so intelligent the way it navigates the terrain! I learnt so much about the Defender and what it’s capable of…

Oh but don’t worry, I wasn’t stupid enough to use my own Defender 😉 And what I was most impressed by was that their Defender only had road tyres on to show off the Defender’s capabilities, rather than thinking it’s the tyres that make the difference!

Well, its been a long few weeks, but we’re finally here... the 90 has an engine again!

So after a few weeks of ordering parts, a "discreet" paint job, slight wait and alot of blood, sweat and tears we are finally getting somwhere... engine has been rebuild, new L.O.F clutch, Hybrid Turbo, and a few other slight modifications...

I have to thank Adrian at @impulse_developments_ for rebuilding the bottom end and also giving me an insight into the rebuilding process!

As of today, the engine is back in the defender, all that is now needed is to hook up the downpipe, plug in the many wires needed to start the engine (5 wires to be precise) and refitting the radiator and full front mount intercooler and then to connect everything with new silicone pipework, it will then be ready to fire it up! Fingers crossed🤞

Got to thank everyone who has helped me along the way, especially those that came and helped me rebuild it and refit it back into the defender! Its very much appreciated! 🤜🤛

Next step is to see if it runs... then to get back camping!

Brought Leo to the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao 🇪🇸

We sold our house and swapped bricks for wheels! We’re Bregje & Peter, living life on the road in Leo, our Land Rover Defender 130 camper. Our beloved Series III, Blue Jean, is staying with family while we explore, chase adventures and search for a new home in Spain or Portugal. 🌍
