Yayyy another fun summer! I can’t believe I’m going to college already… I’m going to miss everyone so much!

Words cannot describe how much I will miss this camp because this goodbye is about so much more than just a summer activity. This camp was the thing I looked forward to the most for the last 4 years.

This summer camp taught me so many things I will never forget, most of which aren’t even about the art. This camp taught me to be responsible but most of all to connect with people I never would have talked to before. I made so many friends that I hope to continue having for the rest of my life.

This is probably one of the hardest goodbyes Ill have as a senior because this camp truly did so much for me. My first year my grandmother passed away while I was at camp, and the week of camp that year happened to fall around the one year anniversary of my stepmoms passing, so this camp really helped to through some of the hardest moments of my life, which is why I will be forever grateful to not only my friends from camp, but all the people who made camp possible and did so much to make everyone feel welcome.

I cannot wait to see the amazing things the next generations of ucsca will do. As one journey comes to an end another’s is just beginning.

Goodbye UCSCA, you will be greatly missed

My god how do I even start, thank you UCSCA for the greatest 5 years I'll probably ever have in my life. All the counselors, campers, teachers, and the rest of the staff are just amazing and you all are just so talented. It feels like yesterday that I was first walking onto the campus of Washington College for the first time, and now it's my last. Thank you all for the best moments ever, we cried together, had fun together, and most importantly made beautiful memories together by making art. So once again thank you everyone and please don't stop what you're doing, you're at this camp because you obviously love the arts so never stop. Anyways goodbye everyone I hope to see you all again one day, I love you all, and remember "The performance is gone, but the preparation remains. You pour everything into an empty room, only to leave it behind." 💙💙

UCSCA 2026. Oh my god. I can’t even think of the words to express how much I love this camp and every individual that’s part of it. Thank you all so much and I hope to see you all next year for my finale.
