Super Blue Moon Event: Harnessing the Power of Intention, Breath & Sound Therapy Our recent event focused on the Super Blue Moon – a rare lunar convergence of three events: a Full Moon, a Super Moon, and a Blue Moon. This spectacular occurrence won’t happen again until January 2037! The event took place in the water sign of Pisces, and we made sure to host it in a serene natural setting near a beautiful water element. We know that the Lunar cycle affects fluid balance in our bodies and organs, and given that our bodies are 99% molecularly water, we wanted to explore how sound therapy could help us navigate the powerful energies of this emotional Super Full Moon. With ambient lighting, nature, and water surrounding us, we started with breathwork and set positive intentions. Attendees then indulged in elevated vibrational frequencies created with alchemical crystal bowls, chimes, bells, gongs, drums, and other soothing sounds. The harmonious blend of sound and nature helped us tap into our inner power. By setting positive intentions and integrating breath and sound, we become unstoppable and powerful beyond measure. A new book by photojournalist and Orange County native Gabriella Angotti-Jones explores what it's like to be a Black female surfer in sometimes hostile waters. As a Black woman, @ga.briella was rare in the world of U.S. surfers, which has been mostly dominated by white men. She grew up in Capistrano Beach in Orange County and got her first surfboard when she was 9 years old. She talks about that and many other moments in “I Just Wanna Surf,” a book mainly of photos — of her friends in and out of the water — and short reflections on her life. Angotti-Jones tells KCRW, “When I'm in the ocean, I forget about everything around me, and I'm completely focused on what's in front of me...When I caught my first wave...I was completely encapsulated in the moment, and I couldn't feel anything but the whoosh and sliding.” 🔗 Catch @ga.briella ‘s story at the link in bio.
