Live From the Underground: South Florida ‼️OUT NOW‼️Watch the full episode at YouTube.com/@globalrockunderground or via the link in bio.

Episode 11 documents South Florida’s underground music scene through the people keeping DIY culture alive today.

While every city in Florida has its own identity, which I love, South Florida feels like its own country. You really need to spend time here to understand what makes this scene so special. Beyond the beaches and other clichés the region is known for, there’s a passionate community of musicians, promoters, photographers, venues, and fans building something that’s entirely its own. Being geographically isolated from much of the U.S. while sitting so close to Cuba, Haiti, The Bahamas, and the rest of the Caribbean has helped shape the culture of this scene unlike anywhere else.

If you’ve never played a show or attended one in South Florida, DO IT. It’s absolutely worth the trip. Make a little vacation out of it. Come on people, live a little!

I had an incredible time exploring this scene, and I’m grateful to everyone who welcomed me in, showed me around, and shared their stories. This episode wouldn’t have been possible without you. Go watch the full thing on YouTube, it’s a really special video.

For anyone new here:
I’m traveling across North America in my van, Big Bertha, documenting underground music scenes through Live From the Underground, a documentary series on YouTube by Global Rock Underground.

Special shoutout to @noizyvisuals and @nowthemomentsgone for supplying live footage.

South Florida scene shirt on our website for a limited time.

More episodes coming soon. Tampa/St. Pete next.

Cheers everyone. Much love and respect.

Tony 🤝💘

#southflorida #miami #sflmusic #fortlauderdale #westpalmbeach

6/4 egg punk legends LIQUIDS make their miami debut at Las Rosas with a stacked lineup of local rockers all for FREE!!!

If you know anything about the wave of punk music that swept youtube through the mid 2010s you'll know liquids.. If not do some research, discover a whole new world via Jimmy Youtube etc. Anyway, this band absolutely rips and everyone else has been ripping them ever since. Actually they're more relevant than ever with mega hits such as "I killed DT" Theyre coming all the way from Indiana so show them some love and show out. Thx @moxiebooking for sending them our way ♡
