SEXYKCAB (Justin Timberlake Cover, 2006) - Back when Deftones would pepper renditions of pop songs into their live shows, the breakdown for Around The Fur was fertile ground for Chino to vibe on the JT song Sexy Back (circa 2006/2007)

Despite the flip phone audio quality and total blurry low res video, this has still been fire over nearly 20 years that it's been on YouTube. I cross-referenced the Timberlake lyrics and listened carefully to the playback after an Al Captions generator to deduce Chino's unique lyrical spin. I think I did a decent job. If you agree then please like, share and subscribe/follow to help me bring the sexy back

A Deftones x Britney mash-up — I’m a lifelong Deftones fan but will never say no to a sticky pop hook. It’s Britney (and Chino), b*tch.

::: First euro Deftones tour shirt :::

Would consider letting this go. Personal collection since day one. Don’t see any of these around but know for a fact we got this from the concert. Possibly hand printed. Must be 97 or 98, Adrenaline era. Let me know through DMs, only letting go come the right offer.

“Adrenaline”

"Suck, suck, suck, suck. They fuck with my head!"

On October 3rd, 1995, Deftones released their debut, 'Adrenaline.'

It's Deftones' most nu-metal album, but even on their raw 1995 offering, these Sacramento sons were already proving they had much more to offer than just JNCO-sized riffs and rap-inflected vocals.

Songs like opener "Bored" and closer "Fireal" (on the LP's original release, "First" was a hidden track) hint at more expansive and experimental things to come, while "7 Words" and "Engine No. 9" have a youthful, speaker-shredding, metalhead-thrilling ferocity that Deftones would never quite match.

All in all, it's an album that satisfyingly delivers on its title.

⚡ SIX YEARS OF OHMS ⚡
On this day in 2020, Deftones released their ninth studio album. From the eerie opening of “Genesis” to the closing surge of “Ohms,” it’s a record built to play loud from start to finish. 🖤
Six years later, which track is your favourite: “Ceremony,” “The Spell of Mathematics,” “Ohms,” or another one entirely? 👇

My Vintage Deftones Tee Collection
•
Had to get the post of before I sold some of these. Still have a very solid collection but definitely slimmer than it’s been. I’ve had and sold a lot of good ones before this pic but finally decided to capture them together. Always my favorite band and i’ll always buy more through years to come. Thanks to anyone who’s sold and even bought some off me.
