I am in complete awe of how many people connected to this song + sent me messages over the past few weeks! this is a song about drifting away from a close friend, or even best friend, that you had when you were younger. still checking up to see how they’re doing, but too nervous to reach out.

the voice memo is from the day I wrote the bridge after being stuck with the song for a while. I think it completes the song and translates all of my feelings and genuinely came to me at midnight :’) 💗

it’s been 2 weeks since my first headline show at @chelseatableandstage and I’m still getting goosebumps❤️ ever since I was 3 years old I’ve been writing silly songs about love and heartbreak. never did I imagine that 19 years later I’d be sharing those songs with a room full of people I love so deeply, that have supported me every step of the way. To my incredibly talented band, @columenrique @nicolas.upegui @baedrien @eliberliner thank you for your beautiful artistry. To @lynnqphoto you ate down with these photos:) to @maxxshearod the best manager and head of the label thank you for sticking with me to the end. to my family, friends and awesome boyfriend, thank you for believing in me when others didn’t. so so excited to announce that my new single “on a beach somewhere” is finally yours on 9/4/26❤️ after a year and a half of being too scared to release a song that told the truth, I’ve finally let go. On a beach somewhere is about toggling back and forth between trying to remember the good parts of someone and then reminding yourself of your worth, and that you deserve to feel chosen. for all my lover girls that’ve felt trapped in this limbo, this song is for you. sometimes putting yourself first means letting go❤️‍🩹
