Alright song and music video out now :D I had to reupload the music video because YouTube squashed it and took the quality away so the 9,000 of you that watched it and commented please do it just one more time and comment your exact same comment and it’ll be like nothing ever happened. Don’t even think about bringing up the reupload.

Thank you to @sadiechandlerr for filming and writing this with me. And also for editing this for 4 days straight. Thank you to @degennhodges for coloring I couldn’t be happier with it.

Long caption keeps going here, I really want to try and express how much it means to me that you listen and watch and get excited with me when I put out new music. I produced this myself and promoting it gave me a hit of that beautiful parasitic little drug called “nostalgia”. It feels similar to when Eloise was coming out and I was standing in the snow in Rhode Island making a tik tok. It also felt similar to standing in my bedroom with my sweet ugly floral chair in the background playing Romeo and Juliet acoustically. The music industry in my experience has a tendency to numb me in the arm and filter out all the reasons i love making music and replace it with a mindless forward motion to nothing land where i am the mayor and the crown that I wear is made of rusted aluminum.
A lot of time between Rhode Island and now feels very blurry and fuzzy, but standing in the falling snow dancing to Eloise, (he’s a pretty good dancer, that’s what you were probably thinking.) and sitting here typing this waiting for the re uploaded music to re upload-feels vivid and vibrant to me. Touring is magic and the last 6 years have been the joy of my life, but making a song in my room and sharing it with you has become the image I keep imagining when I think of what it means to make a dream real life. Thanks for everything and then some more. Big heart <3 - P

personally, i want it to rain on my wedding day — especially if the rain plan includes a glass ceiling 1920’s french bistro designed by charlie chaplin and an endless supply of the best board passed bread and butter in the city. micah and aj didn’t need the rain to draw them into republique but the extra layer of romance was welcomed by all of us in attendance. as dinner rolled out, their friends couldn’t help but stand at (and on) their seats and serenade each other to 90s r&b that everyone seemed to know by heart. a very special day in the heart of los angeles.
