✈️🌍 Looking back at 2016, it feels like I was taking the "scenic route" through life — mostly because I’m still trying to process how I packed that much chaos into 365 days.

If life is a journey, 2016 was hell of a high-speed rail ride:

💼 The Career Glow-up: Started my dream job! It didn’t just open doors; it opened boarding gates and gave me a VIP pass to see the world.

✈️ The Passport Workout: Managed to clock 10 cities in one year.

🇨🇭 The "Detour": I was supposed to go for a work conference in London… but we somehow also ended up at the Top of Europe in Switzerland. High altitude, higher vibes. Let’s just say the view was snow much better than PowerPoint presentations! (Though our phones died each time we stepped out to the -10deg snowstorm) ❄️🤭

💃 The Main Stage: Dance was my entire personality. From teaching my first few waacking batches to choreographing a super glam concert item. I even sat in the judge’s chair for an external comp! ✨

🐇 The New Roomie: We welcomed our baby bunny, Snowy, to the fam.

👩‍❤️‍👨 The Power Couple Moment: Nailed our first-ever couple lift during a battle. Literally sweeping each other off our feet.

📖 The Sentimental Dating Era: Put together a romantic photobook for my ex-bf.

Whether it was soaring over the Swiss Alps or catching a groove on the dance floor, 2016 was definitely a year of elevation! 🚀

👋 Goodbye 2019 with my own Best 9 highlights!

#01- Iceland has always been the top of my wanderlust list. Truly blessed to be able to finally visit Iceland, not to mention a great achievement unlocked with this 2hr glacier hike!
.
#02- Officially a Mrs after 7 years with this boy @lucascjlim! Our love story is quite a rollercoaster ride but it will only go uphill from now (hopefully 😆)!
.
#03- Insanely did 4 pre-wed photoshoot! Had so much fun doing a shoot with @bridalconceptsg at these unique pre-wed photospots around Singapore.
.
#04- Second photoshoot done by my talented bro @traitszsj in Europe. I would never forget how I was shivering in the freezing cold sub-zero temperature in my gown. But the photos made it all worth the effort! ♡♡.
.
#05- Third shoot in Taipei. Wasn't the best of weather but @cheng00657 managed to pull it off with amazing shots!
.
#06- Fourth shoot in Hong Kong. I really have to give it to this boy for the craziest surprise of the decade. Who gives his fiance a (fourth) pre-wed shoot on her birthday?! 😆 But ok like give you 💯 points for that.

#07- Having this Team Bride & Groom makes our wedding 💯! Putting together our wedding dance with them inspired us to start up @luckiinlove0707 to help choreograph more memorable pieces for other couples on their special day.
.
#08- Bringing together @disco.187waackers. Can't be more proud of how much these kiddos have grown in 1 year. From joining their first solo and crew battles, to putting up a performance at my wedding that nearly got me to tears, to shooting our boba-waack video, I'm really grateful for having these kiddos as my waacking family.
.
#09- Started off the year with a family trip. Definitely one of the most memorable one as I finally brought my parents to Europe. Hope to be able to bring them on more trips in 2020!

❤ Loving these photos 'cause looking at them just make me feel like it was just yesterday when they were going all out to make me do wierd stuff for my hens night and us planning weird stuff for Team groom for gatecrash. -
Feeling sentimental suddenly but I really want to thank these beautiful ladies (and Samuel MIA here-- you should've totally put on a dress and join these shots!) Attending their weddings and receiving news on their engagement recently just make me feel so overwhelmingly heartwarming and teary with joy, and suddenly all the stress and challenges in my life doesn't seem to matter then. 🤗

Dance brought us together 7 years ago so it was a dream for us to celebrate with it.
-
This routine wasn't fancy or technical but it felt SO good. The ppl that shared the stage with us were our closest friends. The audience that cheered for us were all impt ppl in our lives🙆‍♂️❤

I always envisioned a simple wedding but somehow it turned out to be the total opposite lol. It was worth every effort though. 2 weeks on, I watch this vid and I'm laughing & smiling. 20 years later, I'm sure I will at least brag about how i saved my bride on the beat 😂

It has always been my dream to choreograph a slow dance with @lucascjlim without arguing over the choreography 😅 Glad we finally put together this item rather peacefully coz he gave in to me. (But he got his revenge by overturning me and the dip became a 英雄救美 nice save stunt! Phew! 🤣) -
