I’m actually just a girl who loves being creative. Creating concepts, bringing them to life, working with amazing teams, creating visions, living life, connecting with other self employed creatives, getting to know myself better and simply taking lots and lots of photos and videos. 🤍
And I’m still on a very long journey in this fashion industry, which can be so exciting and beautiful, but also incredibly exhausting.
And then things like AI come around the corner. Something I actually see so much potential in, while at the same time it scares me a little. And on top of that there are all the very unglamorous parts of being self employed. Invoices, taxes, paperwork, emails, rejections, planning, organizing and basically handling an entire little business while still trying to have enough space in my head to be creative.
People still ask me quite often if this is really my only job. And yes, it is.
I’ve actually never had a permanent job. I had a million different jobs while I was in school and university and worked as a working student, but I started building my own business while I was still studying and somehow never did anything else after that.
And I truly feel like I was born for this.
But being self employed also means going through this constant cycle of ups and downs. One day you feel like everything is finally coming together and the next day you’re carrying five bags, doing your taxes, getting another rejection and wondering what the hell you’re doing.
And somehow it feels really nice to start sharing more of that side here too.
Not just the final pictures, the beautiful campaigns, the traveling and the exciting sets.
But everything in between.

I still can't quite believe that an ex investment banker ended up holding a brush and painting thousands of faces.

In the beginning, it felt like being a child again — colorful crayons, endless possibility, no rules. I loved that process completely.

Somewhere along the way, that lightness shifted — the same freedom that once felt like floating started to feel more like a balloon tied down with heavy stones.

Through all of it, one thing for me never changed: there is something unique and beautiful in every face, no matter what.

Six years, thousands of faces, so much learned. Now it's time to discover something of my own — on my own.

To everyone who trusted me with their face and their moment — thank you. It meant more than you know.

Never say never. But for now, this brush is resting.
