Celebrating a Princeton Tiger: a Graduation Celebration at @abovestatenisland for @andrewdal3ssio 🧡🖤 ⚾️

Deirdre DeAngelis @deirdre_dd21 has been a friend of our Nicotra family for many years, and Team Nicotra has had the honor of hosting many of her family’s milestone moments, including her unforgettable retirement party to conclude her time as the beloved principal of New Dorp High School with a beautiful event in @nicotrasballroom - Owners Lois and Richard Nicotra were present then, and for this event as well - a hallmark of events at our venue.

This summer, their family returned to @hgistatenisland to Above Rooftop to celebrate her son Andrew’s graduation from @princeton Princeton University. After a busy senior year and baseball season, family and friends paused to enjoy the well-earned achievement.

On a beautiful summer night, guests enjoyed a menu featuring stadium favorites 🍔 alongside the elevated dishes Above is known for, while images of Andrew’s impressive scholastic and baseball journey through his stellar years with @putigerbaseball lit up our crystal-clear screen—creating the perfect tribute for proud parents and a remarkable son.

We celebrate graduations, anniversaries, holidays, and life’s biggest moments all year long. Always take time to make these moments.

Take the photos.
Celebrate the achievements! 🧡🖤⚾️

Capturing Uncle Andy’s Princeton career in its entirety through this piece of artwork given with so much love @jennyk030182 . Texture was one of the main focuses in Andrew’s piece along with the look of determination in his eyes as he prepares to pitch. Best wishes as he enters his final season at Princeton. Oh time, hold on tight.
SWIPE to view the card that was given to Andrew allowing him to know he had a painting in the process of being created for him and his reveal!

The Hungerford School and New Dorp High School have developed together unity, support, and fostered acceptance for all because of Mrs. Deangelis. As a school community we celebrated her and her retirement.
