To celebrate The International Youth Day in style, @lhaudeafrica put together a Sip and Dye networking mixer.

We had important conversations about sustainability in the fashion industry and deliberated on how Tie-dye inspired brands can embrace a sustainable business model and framework whilst culture remains preserved.

It was an opportunity for young people to share their thoughts on critical subject matters, network, have fun and engage in the Art of Adire/Tie-dye.

Some weeks ago I had the incredible opportunity to moderate a captivating panel session at the prestigious Lagos Leather Fair, where we explored the intricate dynamics of running a creative business.

The discussion centered around the burning question: How can creative businesses strike the perfect balance between nurturing their artistic expression and driving profitability?

We delved into the essential strategies that empower creative entrepreneurs to thrive while staying true to their artistic visions.

🌟 Innovation and Differentiation: Our panelists emphasized the importance of staying ahead of the curve by embracing innovation and daring to be different.

🌟 Strategic Collaboration: Collaboration emerged as a powerful driving force behind creative business success. By forging meaningful partnerships, entrepreneurs gain access to new markets, resources, and expertise, accelerating growth and propelling their ventures.

🌟 Financial Literacy and Planning: Achieving profitability doesn't mean compromising creativity. Our panelists highlighted the significance of financial literacy and careful planning.
