Hey! 🧑‍🩰👯

Because the more, the merrier!

Here's a rodeo tridem list of tricks/challenges! ✨

Again, from easiest to hardest (according to me):

1. Stand up
2. Half turns
3. Walk with triple crossed legs
4. Expo + side steps
5. Shoulder expo + side steps
6. Change of direction together
7. Sitting on a chair
8. Walk-over switch (the stick helps ^^)

Which of these do you already master, and which ones are you still working on?

What other tricks/challenges would you recommend?

I'd also like to publish a list of rodeo fourdem tricks/challenges, but I first need to find three people to do it with! 😅

Spring brings with it energy of inspiration and curiosity 🌼

Delicious ferments and refreshing kombucha, soaking up nature with whale sightings and highlines.

I bought new clay and glazes and have already tested them out. Curious to receive them back from the kiln gods and see what they're like!

Wishing everyone celebrating a happy Diwali! Enjoying celebrating with friends in Australia and thinking of last year's Diwali spent in Pushkar, India. Love and light to all 💖🪔

The rest of October looked like this: 🏺〰️🏔️🎨🖌️ throwing, trimming, a Halloween highline in the Blue Mountains, and lots of sketching inspired by my pottery practice.

🌊 Being walking distance from the waterline spot still feels like such a treat 😃

Its been almost a year I became a member of the Hengermalom highline gym...beautiful memories. Highline is not only a sport, its about connections (literally 🤭) and about rituals and about breathing...and showing up even when its cold or hot... and so much more ✨

A behind the scenes look at the incredible craftswomanship of @lehvallee✨

In this studio, they spin, dye, and weave stunning fabrics using traditional techniques passed down through generations in the Ladakh region.

So grateful for the opportunity to visit and witness the magic firsthand. Thank you Kunzis for being so kind and welcoming ❤️

Spinning with a traditional Ladakhi phang for the first time, and I didn’t do as badly as I expected I would! 😃🧶

This whorl-less spindle, used by Ladakhi women for spinning wool, is spun inside a bowl traditionally crafted from the pulp of apricot seeds after the oil has been extracted. Nowadays, a regular kitchen bowl is often used too for convenience.

Grateful to have crossed paths with Kunzis who, so kindly invited me to visit the @lehvallee workshop and showed me around ✨ Thank you for opening your world to me and sharing your love for the craft with me! May the world be filled with more interactions like these 🥰

I heard of a man in a remote village with a ceramics studio at home, I was so curious. Not knowing if the information was correct, or if he was even going to be there, my partner and I set out on a mission to find him and visit his studio. Hitchhiking across the vast landscapes of Ladakh, waiting by the roadside in the sun, and nibbling on foraged berries. Even when we reached the village, finding him was no simple task. We walked around for a long time until we came across a sign for the pottery studio, we followed a few signs until we finally stumbled upon this sweet man sitting outside, working away. We didn’t share a language sadly, because there were so many questions I wish I could’ve asked him! We didn’t want to impose but he seemed happy to have us around. He had a work space in a shaded area outside, and a big collection
of his works inside, arranged beautifully on display. Outside there was a small kiln and a really breathtaking view.

Back on the road again! ⛺ Over the past two weeks, we’ve been slowly making our way from Wollongong to the Sunshine Coast.☀️🌊

🐳🦘🐍 Along the way, we had some unforgettable close encounters: dolphins and whales, snakes (yes, plural!), starfish, camels, and wallabies. We were hoping to spot a wild koala, but that dream remains on the list for now.

🥒 We visited Buchi, an incredible fermentation hub, and left feeling so inspired by everything they’re doing.

We also stayed with friends, visited many beaches and creeks, and volunteered at the Zen Festival, celebrating 25 years of Zenthai Shiatsu.

Before we left for the trip, my delivery of Kiwi underglazes arrived (I was so excited for this!), and I made a bunch of test pebbles to try out all the colours. Can't wait to fire them and see the results ✨

There’s something really beautiful about the atmosphere before holidays. People getting ready, cleaning their homes, cooking, hanging decorations 🪔.

There’s always this mix of excitement and anticipation in the air. Last year in Pushkar, I got to experience that special energy during the Diwali preparations, and in true India style, things took an unexpected turn: a full-on firework street fight 🎆🎇🧨.

Long story short, we had to take the long way home to avoid getting caught in the middle of it. The adventure never stops!
