Regionals might not have ended the way we hoped, but what a weekend of polo. Going against @montanastatepolo and @oregonstatepolo was truly a blessing, and we made so many memories this weekend.

A huge thank you to Megan Judge for trusting us with his incredible horses and making it possible for us to compete. We’re also grateful to @centralcoastjrpolo for hosting such a great tournament.

And a big congratulations to @delaineeellsworth on being named sportsmanship! ⭐

Proud of this team and everything we've built this season.

ROAD TO 2026 WESTERN REGIONALS CHAMPIONSHIP 🏇🏻🔥

With the start of Spring Semester, we’re throwing it back to last November when both our Women’s Varsity and Men’s (Open) teams traveled to Yuba City, CA to compete in the NW Aggie Invitational Tournament, taking on top programs from across the Northwest. The women battled it out against UC Davis and Oregon State University, while the men faced Montana State University and UC Davis!
@aggiepoloatucd @montanastatepolo @oregonstatepolo

An opportunity for many of our members to compete for the first time in a USPA game. The level of riding, teamwork, and grit on display was impressive.

Huge congratulations to our very own Sebastian Popoff (Men) for earning a Horsemanship Award. 🏆🐎 @sebastian.popoff

This tournament was a major step in our season and exactly the kind of preparation we needed as we build toward the Western Regional Championship Tournament from this upcoming February 27 through March 1.

The work continues, the standard stays high, and the focus is locked in.

The Vandals are ready.
Go Vandals 💛🖤

If you’re looking for a horse with a sound mind, loving heart, and strong work ethic, Lady May is your gal!

In the arena, Lady is an enjoyable, smooth ride with a floaty, ground-covering trot. She moves willingly off of leg and rein well, with a good stop. On the trail, Lady is confident and brave. She walks out willingly, is happy to lead or follow, and confidently navigates wildlife, water, bridges, and new environments. Happy to show you lots of party tricks including pushing her ball, dragging the tarp, carrying the flag, or pulling the sled- she’ll bring enjoyment for everyone. She will pick you up anywhere to mount- fences, trailer fenders, mounting blocks, and logs and will lay down on command!

Big congratulations to our amazing Payton on her graduation! 🎓🐴✨ @payt_nicol

Payton earned her degree in Animal Science (pre-vet track) @uicals and was a dedicated member of the University of Idaho Polo Club for 3.5 incredible years. As a key varsity player, she brought skill, heart, and leadership to every match on the polo field.

Her horse background is seriously impressive: she started riding at 13 at an English barn and has experience in show jumping, cross-country, dressage, mounted games, and trail courses. Behind the scenes, she’s handled barn chores, taught lead line lessons, and brought joy to kids with pony rides.

Payton has been an exemplary member of our club: always positive, hardworking, and a true team player who made everyone around her better. We’re so proud of all she’s accomplished and grateful for the energy and passion she poured into our program!

The polo arena (and the barn!) won’t be the same without you, but we can’t wait to cheer you on in your next adventure. Go Vandal! 🖤💛
