College is difficult but having your sisters there to support you makes it all the easier, because they are going through the same struggles of adjustment as you!” -Lauren 🌟What made you want to go Greek? “I wanted to go greek because UL is 2 hours from home and there weren’t many people coming to Lafayette in my graduating class. When your best friends are badass wedding photographers and capture a week full of authentic memories… Cory and I celebrated our 2nd Anniversary married this week and I’ve finally sifted through all of the content captured from our wedding week to share just how phenomenal the entire experience was. 💍🌵🥂 Photo/video: @creel.co Wedding Week Instax Film Coverage: @wearetherylands Hair/makeup: @ivoryrosebeautyco Invitations: @minted Shoes: @theendyuccavalley Cake: @fine.art.cookies Florals: @sbblooms Creative Direction: @wearetherylands @kalinorton Wedding Dress: @twirlbyobsession And let me not forget to note the people close to us who immersed themselves in the California Desert to make a week of unforgettable memories with us. Like many of my wild creative ideas, this wedding came together from a vision in my head and the teamwork and combined talents of our friends and family to bring my visions to life in a top chef style, create with what we’ve got environment. We got food from @samsclub and enlisted the culinary strengths among the group to cook, utilized the decor and furniture in our stunning mid-century @airbnb (previously a residence to THE Frank Sinatra), received all of our florals in perfect presentation straight to our Airbnb, thanks to Something Borrowed Blooms and @fedex 💐✈️ and hosted a surprise retro-inspired tennis styled shoot for our friends. The wedding day was the most beautifully quirky day filled with love, comradery and an abundance of belly laughs. We literally COULD NOT FIND OUR WEDDING RINGS DURING THE VOWS and had to use my best friends’ to finish the ceremony. Sorry @wearetherylands - we’re officially connected for life via your wedding rings.🤣 Here’s to a recollection of one of the best weeks of my life and a lifetime of unpredictable magic with my PNC, @theoubregroup 💫

“We were confused and overtaxed, unmoored, a little unhinged. But it would pass, we nodded to each other. They’re only little once.” We’ve reached the age where this girl is all-around my little sidekick, artist, bestie and teacher of the most beautiful parts of life. Our conversations are top-knotch, as is her hilarious wit. After the most love-filled, funny, peaceful Mother’s Day Weekend with family, my one-of-a-kind Pappiere went to Heaven yesterday. He kept life interesting in the most amusing of ways and cared for my grandma, his girls and anyone in need in a way that undeniably left a mark on those he encountered. “Til death do us part” was a concept he lived and breathed every day in the ways he cared for my grandma aka “MA-RIE, his Little Sweetie, Teetsy-Mae.” It’s near-impossible to imagine the two of them apart; nonetheless, she spent his last days like she had nearly her entire life, unwaveringly right by his side, along with their four daughters. He taught us so very many things, one being the opportunity to find humor and joy in every simple day. His persistent phone calls attached to 10-second conversations and the pride he had for his loved ones, showcased on his DIY family photo collages, will undoubtedly be missed. The many Roger-isms he left with us in memories and lessons are woven into our lives forever. 🤍 #mothersday #motherhood #motherhoodanthology #lessonsinmotherhood #girlmom
