6 weeks & HUNDREDS of miles traveled.
Athens (twice), Minford, Lancaster, Portsmouth, Vinton…the list goes on & on.

And these ladies keep showing up.

If it’s 90 outside, it’s 105-110 on the court.

With no home matches this year, they’re driving an hour one way, several days a week. Then playing for 2+ hours & doing it all again the next day. On off days, they’re running & doing workouts.

Not only are they in HS but most of these ladies have jobs, take college courses and are involved in other activities/sports.

This week they traveled to Jackson, Portsmouth and tonight will play not one, but two matches, at Hillsboro. 4 matches in 3 days. In the heat.

They’re exhausted, physically & mentally, but they’re pushing through.

Keep working hard Lady Tanks Tennis! Proud of U!@uhsmedianetwork

Brooklyn spent today doing her favorite thing with her favorite people. When we left she informed us that she liked doing 8 dances today so after next year she should start doing that. 🤪 Here are a few from Conga (team jazz), more Lion King (with a photoshoot of Thing 1 and Thing 2), Friend Like Me (jazz duet), and the final bow for the best seniors ever. Our hearts are going to hurt when those last goodbyes are said next month. #brooklynelizabeth
