This is a really late post but last Saturday was my “last” recital. Thank you so much to all my teachers and friends who helped make this year absolutely incredible. I can’t wait for next season and to spend it with my favorite people!🩷💚🩷💚🩷💚

Today holds a special place of gratitude for each of you. For the time and commitment you made to making this show unbelievable amazing for each student who graced the stage.

There’s a certain rhythm to the season — a heartbeat that starts in August and doesn’t stop until the final number takes its bow. As a studio owner, you feel every beat.

It’s early mornings unlocking the studio, days spent chasing the FEDEX man for a box of costumes, and a calendar that looks more like a puzzle than a schedule. It’s organizing rehearsals, answering parent messages at midnight, fixing a shoe strap moments before call time, and being the steady hand in the chaos.

Behind the scenes, it’s a blur of quick changes, pep talks, glitter that never fully leaves your clothes, and the constant mental checklist running on loop in your head. But somehow, amidst the mayhem, there are moments of stillness — like when a dancer steps onstage and you suddenly remember why you do this.

It’s watching them grow in confidence, celebrate the small victories, lift each other up. It’s not about trophies — though those are nice — it’s about watching these kids find their voice, their strength, their spark. It’s crying through that final bow for graduating seniors who have graced our stage for 10+ years.

By the end, you’re running on fumes, emotionally and physically drained. But as you watch the final show of the season, you realize you’d give every ounce again — and you will.

Because this isn’t just a season. It’s a story you get to help write, one performance, one rehearsal, one dancer at a time.

Congratulations Dancers! WE DID IT! Now let’s CELEBRATE!
