🐯👑 116 YEARS OF CRUTCHO PRIDE & A HOMECOMING FOR THE HISTORY BOOKS! 💙💛 What a celebration! 🎉 After 116 years of @crutchoschool history, the Tigers celebrated their FIRST-EVER Homecoming Coronation, and Miss Oklahoma City 2027, Delaney Walker, had the incredible honor of crowning the school’s Homecoming King and Queen! 👑✨ From the excitement of the Crutcho cheer and pom teams to an outstanding performance by the Star Spencer Marching Band, the school spirit was contagious! 🥁📣 Superintendent Perry helped make the celebration even more memorable by recognizing Crutcho alumni, including a very special familiar face—our own Miss Oklahoma City Executive Director, Vickie Munsey, who was recognized as the longest-ago graduate in attendance! 💙 What a full-circle moment to see generations of Crutcho pride come together! We loved celebrating the elementary and middle school students, recognizing the girls’ and boys’ basketball teams, and hearing the school alma mater led by Ms. Jackson. And those sweet faces filled with excitement? Absolutely priceless! 🥹🐯 A special thank-you to Ms. Ross for the gracious invitation and to the entire Crutcho Schools community for welcoming us into such a historic celebration! 116 years of tradition. A brand-new Homecoming legacy. And generations of TIGER PRIDE! 🐯💛💙 Congratulations to the Homecoming King and Queen, and to every student who made this celebration unforgettable! GO TIGERS!🐯🎉

Long before the @missoklahomacityok crowns, @delaneywalker and Aniston Brown were kids on stage. Delaney grew up dancing and singing, and she says the arts shaped who she is and taught her lessons that reach far beyond the stage. Aniston is a high school singer who has seen firsthand how music builds confidence and helps students find what they love. Now, as Miss Oklahoma City and Miss Oklahoma City’s Teen, they’re inviting you to the 10th annual Maestro’s Ball this Saturday. It’s a black tie night of cocktails, dinner and live entertainment, and your support helps sustain world-class performances, free community concerts, and music education programs reaching thousands throughout Oklahoma. That means more kids getting the same chance they had. Ticket sales close Wednesday, October 14 at noon, so don’t wait! This Saturday, October “17 Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club

WELCOME HOME MISS AMERICA!❤️🤍💙 What a fun and inspiring weekend of listening to some incredible speakers and meeting our very own Miss America, Reagan! I must say Reagan is such an inspiration to me, because little Leah who was always afraid to wear her curls wouldn’t believe we got to meet a Miss America that made her feel confident wearing her natural curls. Thank you Reagan for continuing to inspire generations across the country, it means the world to little Leah and I🥰

Unfortunately for the 2nd year in a row, Night of The Century didn’t go so well like it did in 2022 (the inaugural installment) and 2024 (when @mcknight0418, @mcknightkathleen and I ALMOST Earnhardt’ed ourselves on our way to get ice cream at @dairygrove on @brunellofarago’s Birthday) but hey, like @erienights once said: The best part about a lackluster season let alone a lackluster installment of a singular (like Robby Gordon) tradition is that it is easy to do better for the next year and 2nd of all, these lackluster, borefest and snoozers will always make the barnburners and bangers even sweeter. But look on the bright side: SAN ANTONIO SPURS BASKETBALL RETURNS THIS MONTH FOR MY MILESTONE 30TH ANNIVERSARY AS A FAN! October 20th is where it’s at vs @delaneywalker’s Team, EL MIO COÑOOO!!! Until then, join me in wishing @wendimclendoncovey aka Beverly Goldberg a Happy Jason Keller 57th Birthday! #GoSpursGo #PorVida #RaceForSeis

Happy #TapTuesday! I have long had this little inside joke in which I keep invoking the name Delanie Walker when I see this woman. Delanie Walker is a retired NFL tight end who played for both the San Francisco 49ers and the Tennessee Titans. This is not Delanie Walker. This is DELANEY Walker (@delaneywalker), who currently holds the title of @missoklahomacityok! The distinction is actually quite important. 🤣 Starting the day with Delaney performing at the OKC Tap Fest! Choreography by the amazing Tiffany Warford (@tiffwarford)! 🔥💜 Repost from @missoklahomacityok OKC TAP FEST!!!🕺🏻 What a fun night at the OKC Tap Festival’ I’m so grateful to have been invited to attend and spend the evening taking classes from some of OKC’s incredible tap instructors! Tap has given me so much more than steps and rhythms, it has helped shape my confidence, creativity, and the message behind Tap N2 Your Uniqueness. Getting to experience an event that brings our community together through education, history, and a shared love for tap made the night even more meaningful. Thank you OKC Tap Fest for having me and for continuing to create a space where dancers can learn, connect, and celebrate this incredible art form right here in Oklahoma City! Keep up with the OKC Tap Festival and hope to see you there next year!!! Choreography -> @tiffwarford #OKCTapFest #TapN2YourUniqueness #MissOklahomaCity #TapDance
