The last 13 years have gone by so fast. I never realized how fast it went until I walked off the stage for the last time yesterday. I am so grateful that dance gave me so many of my best friends and I got to meet so many amazing people! I am so thankful for my parents who supported me and my crazy schedule I always had! And a huge thank you to every coach I have had for helping me became the danced I am! After all the all the late and hard practices, early mornings, long days, and long rides to competitions it was always worth it! As I will miss dancing, I am so excited to start coaching next year! I will miss all of you, but cannot wait to cheer you all on next year!!

After 15 years the biggest part of my life is over. I always remember hearing the seniors before me saying it goes by fast. I never understood what that meant until I was already at the end. This season was by far the best one. I’m so happy I got to do it along all my amazing teammates and coaches!! Thank you to my coaches who always pushed me harder and made me believe in myself. Thank you to my teammates for becoming my best friends and having me look forward to practice each week. Most of all thank you to my family for being my biggest supporters and encouraging me every step of the way. I love you guys and I’m gonna miss you all so much!!

AND THE SUN SETS ON SENIOR SEASON FOR THE #CLASSOF2025 🥹

Ahlicia, the last senior..
This season was one heck of a season. Not only did we have a whopping FIFTY-FIVE seniors (not our most), but about 80% of them were siblings! Which is why we got to that 55 number-I don’t say no to priors, even when The List fills over a year ahead. It also brought us to Maine, brought seniors from Colorado and other states, and kept bringing me to Delano many times for my second “community” that I’ve grown to love.

To my class of 2025: You are GREATNESS. Thank you for the fun, the adventures, the laughter and tears, and for letting me show the post-high school world that you guys are simply incredible.

To my parents of the class of 2025: Many of you were friends, and some I met fresh and new, but for all of you-thank you for trusting me in this wonderfully emotional journey that has you kicking one day and bawling the next. Your kids, soon to be adults, are treasures-each and every one of them.

And finally, to my ROCKSTAR ASSISTANTS: I love you guys. You lift me up, you keep me going, and you put a smile on my face every day you come to work. Cathy, my Major Moment, you’re never allowed to retire, because I can’t handle my 50’s without you and your wisdom! Avery, my Mini Moment, your talent is phenomenal. Like, seriously. And so are your organizing sheets! And Miss Mya, my Mini Moment the 2nd, your spunk and hilariousness is better than 5 hour energy-even though I get your name wrong so much!

Misty...signing off.

Well......just for a long weekend away for my 30th anniversary.
Back to work Tuesday to wrap up senior orders!!
