New York Nihilism

Friends say my content looks very polished - probably because I shoot with a proper camera and have worked as a model since I was sixteen. And, of course, there’s my age; one way or another, we stop obsessing over fashion and trends and settle into a way of existing that feels comfortable to us.

I’m not trying to force my way into the modern world or beat my chest claiming to be trendy. I know exactly who I am and harbor no illusions, but I definitely have style - both in my lifestyle and the way I dress. I see beauty where no one else does; I try to find order in chaos, and harmony in the ordinary - things that aren’t intentionally beautiful but come together to form a lovely picture of reality.
That’s probably why I no longer care what people think of me: I’m simply not trying to prove anything to them. I’m living this life for myself, and it feels beautiful that way.

The most popular flea market in California - it covers an area the size of an airfield.
Some tattered old T-shirts - older than I am - can fetch up to $300.
The midday heat in Pasadena rivals that of the desert, but that never stops the people looking to find a rose in the muck. That’s exactly what we were doing there. Lol.

I’m wearing @delatombe_ — not vintage, but very much in that spirit❤️‍🔥
