If you know me, you know that the summer of 2025 was a rough one for me and my confidence as a professional. One year later, and I’m living proof of how you can flourish when someone believes in you. Thank you so much @dinniadigennaroeq for taking a chance on me this summer. I had such a great time at my first official grooming job! And thank you to my William Woods family for encouraging me to take a chance on myself this year. I’m so excited to see what the future holds! Senior year, here I come!

✨✨ Why You Should Always Hot Oil After a Clip! ✨

Hot oiling isn’t just a luxury — it’s an essential step for keeping your horse’s skin and coat healthy after clipping. 🐴💧

1️⃣ Removes leftover hairs – After clipping, those tiny loose hairs can irritate your horse’s skin. A warm oil rinse lifts them off, leaving the coat smooth and comfortable.

2️⃣ Rehydrates the skin – Clipping can strip away natural oils. Hot oiling helps replenish moisture, soothing dryness and reducing dandruff.

3️⃣ Restores natural shine – The oil penetrates deep into the hair, leaving the coat silky, hydrated, and glowing from within.

4️⃣ Boosts circulation – The gentle heat and massage from application stimulate blood flow, supporting coat health and regrowth.

5️⃣ Protects against dust – A light, balanced oil layer helps repel dirt while keeping the coat clean and conditioned.

💡 Product Tip:
I used to use regular Shapley’s oil, but I found it left a greasy film and actually attracted dust if too much was applied. Now I mix EquiFuse Shine Spray into a bucket of hot water — it gives all the benefits of a hot oil treatment without the heavy residue. The result? A smooth, hydrated, and dust-free shine that lasts. ✨

Your horse will thank you! 🐎💆‍♀️

Nothing beats a clean, smooth finish when you’ve got the right tools in hand! 💪

Used my ANDIS ZR II for power and precision, Emerge Lites for the perfect detail work, and… 👀 a soon-to-be-released clipper designed just for sensitive areas!

Keep your eyes peeled for my next post — I’ll be dropping all the details soon! 👏💈

Honor the moment…chase the next. 🏆🐎

Showing at Lexington Junior League was once just a dream for so many of us. Looking back at these past champions from Deardorff Stable, I’m reminded how grateful I am for every rider, horse, and moment that made it possible. These memories mean everything, but it’s the journey, the progress, and the chance to keep reaching higher that truly matter.

Best of luck to everyone heading into Junior League next week. Here’s to honoring the past, appreciating the present, and believing in what’s possible for the future. ✨
