come look at my involvements and heart for svsu!! 🤍

being involved on campus is one of my favorite parts of being a student here! some things that I’m involved in are:

- delight ministries
- alpha sigma alpha
- student life employee

as sappy as it may sound, choosing svsu is truly one of— if not THE— best decisions i’ve ever made. it has given me the greatest education, most amazing memories, the best friends a girl could ask for, and RSOs i call home.

on this year’s homecoming court, i want to be able to represent the school and people that have given me so much, and give back just an ounce of the love they have given me!

delight ministries:

a women’s campus ministry with chapters all around the country!

here, we foster deep connections and friendships, initiate vulnerable conversations, and most importantly, help point girls to Christ and equip them to share the Gospel.

this year, i serve as svsu delight’s book coordinator/treasurer and as one of our two community service coordinators. check out @delight_svsu to see us in action and learn more about this wonderful group of girls!!

alpha sigma alpha:

asa is a social sorority on campus with chapters all across the united states!

we are focused on developing women of poise and purpose, and seek to elevate the influence of women in the world. we partner with national philanthropies of girls on the run, asa foundation, and special olympics.

we encourage and seek out volunteer opportunities, leadership, and deep relationships with one another. asa has truly given me some of the best memories, leadership opportunities, and friendships i could ever ask for. i would not be where i am today without the girls!!

check out @asadeltasigma and @svsupanhellenic to learn more!!

student life:

i am so blessed to have the position of RSO support intern this school year in svsu’s office of student life!

i get the privilege of working as a student liaison for RSOs on campus, bridging the gap between them and higher ups in the offices. i help process registrations, host RSO workshops, and act as an advocate for the students on campus

i love working in such a positive and

“For the longest time I was a lukewarm Christian.

Growing up, I would go to church every Sunday, annoyed that I had to get up early and waiting to get lunch after. I would listen to what the pastor was saying and knew it was supposed to have meaning toward my life but I never did anything with it.

When I started going to SVSU, I went to Delight for the first time and knew I was right where I was supposed to be. The girls were so welcoming and felt so much like Jesus that there was no other place I wanted to be. My leaders and friends at Delight set an example of what real relationship with Jesus is and I haven’t stopped chasing Him since. God called me to Delight so I could turn what was once luke-warm, to being on fire for Christ.

This past Thursday I had the opportunity to be BAPTIZED with my Delight girls. I had had this opportunity many times in the past, but I knew that this time was so important because it would mean something, and it would be with the girls who helped me get there.

Delight has changed my life and brought me to Jesus, and I am so thankful for the plan He set out for me. What I thought was going to feel like going to some random club on campus, turned out to feel like home and I am forever thankful.”
