Pumpkin Spice season is HERE! 🎃

One sip of the Welcome Drink we whipped up for @abiclarkecomedy and you’ll wish it lasted all year round.

This cocktail combines two of Abi’s loves - the Espresso Martini and the Pumpkin Spice Latte from her favourite coffee shop, @jolene_newingtongreen.

Would you try this one? 🥤

@chickenshopdate is coming to an end. 😢

But don’t worry - we’ve launched Chicken Wine Date! 🍷🐔

For his upcoming episode of @atthebarhq, wine legend @tomgilbeywine joined @jonalmond to crack open a bottle of @lavieilleferme and swipe right or left on a series of potentially relationship-ending wine opinions.

Ice in wine?
Natural wine?
Wine with crisps?
Prosecco?

Once we’d actually worked out how to play the game, things went surprisingly well.

Think this could catch on, @ameliadimz?! 👀

👉 Tom Gilbey x @atthebarhq - coming soon. 👈

And Tom’s book, Thirsty - the story of Tom’s life in wine - is out now. 📖

Well, this escalated quickly. 🔥

A few behind-the-scenes moments from our biggest shoot yet, as @prideofgypsies joined @mattyfwhite, @jack_sotti and @jonalmond At The Bar.

Drinks were poured. Stories were told. Things got more than a little chaotic.

We’ll say no more for now…

Jason Momoa x At The Bar.

Coming soon. 👀

“I hate Aperol Spritz!” 🍊

@georgieeats certainly doesn’t sit on the fence. 😳

@jonalmond challenged her to a round of Winner Stays On, pitting everything from red wine and Champagne to Guinness, Negronis and Martinis against each other.

One drink absolutely dominated.

Until it didn’t. 👀

Carrie Bradshaw has a lot to answer for. 🍸

@georgieeats first started drinking Cosmopolitans because of Sex and the City.

Then she realised something important:

They’re actually really good.

So when Georgie joined us At The Bar, @jack_sotti made a proper Cosmo - pale pink, citrusy, boozy and finished with burnt orange - and EVERYONE was a fan.

Is it time this classic vodka cocktail made a comeback?

@slaterchef has a very specific drink ick. 👀

Anything that smells even remotely like a sticky club floor?

He’s out.

When @jonalmond put the cult cooking hero through a quick game of Cocktail Confessional, we discovered Ben’s ideal tomato cocktail - acidic, fresh and, in his words, tasting “like a greenhouse” - plus why one simple can of Mythos on a Greek beach still beats almost everything.

@cheftomkerridge has always been all or nothing.

Before he stopped drinking, that meant taking things to an extreme.

Now, nearly 13 years sober, that same intensity goes into work, training and whatever challenge he decides to take on next.

“There’s no medium. There’s no a little bit.”

A remarkably candid conversation about drinking, recovery and what replaces the escape when you take alcohol away.

We went digging through the chef’s bible for @cheftomkerridge’s Welcome Drink. 📖

Hidden inside Larousse Gastronomique is a surprisingly simple non-alcoholic drink called a figuette - figs, juniper and water.

So our resident bartender @jack_sotti decided to bring it back to life.

Tom’s verdict?

“Like posh Lipton.”

More importantly, after nearly 13 years without alcohol, Tom reckons a great non-alcoholic drink deserves exactly the same care, craft and thought as anything boozy.

What happens when Tom Kerridge walks into a bar?

Quite a lot, as it turns out. 👀

@cheftomkerridge joined us for pubs, Michelin stars, 13 years of sobriety, hospitality, suspicious pub names and some VERY experimental non-alcoholic drinks.

Oh, and somehow we ended up serving him a full cheese board. 🧀

Can drinking make you better at your job? 👀🍸

@abiclarkecomedy explained why having a G&T while hosting a comedy night can sometimes make her quicker and more instinctive.

But once the rhythm goes?

Game over.

Meanwhile, our resident bartender @jack_sotti is still working on the much harder skill of asking himself:

“Should I say that?!”
