It’s official. Put it in your calendar, Friday 22nd May. Perfect lil shindig pre drinks (and free) for your long weekend. What is “SOUND EXPERIMENTS”? The concept: It’s an intimate music discovery night with selected DJs curating sounds within a specific genre. We want to provide the audience a new experience. It’s not to replace multi-genre nights but to provide a parallel universe where you can really dive deeper and immerse into one sound. We want to then compliment that night with more genre education, highlighting its history and spotlighting producers who are pioneering the sound forward. Meet the curated DJs who are going to explore different BREAKS sounds & sub-genres. Free to attend but you must RSVP via the link in bio. 🎵 PROGRESSIVE BREAKS Akira @akira_sneek NU SKOOL BREAKS Oka @prod_by_oka NU SKOOL BREAKS Sands Spheric @mattgeeartist ACID BREAKS Alliee Fields @allieefields BREAKCORE delirious.blanc @delirious.blanc 💽 Where: @labdotclub in Shoreditch When: Friday 22nd May Time: 7-11pm Drinks: Free by Jubel + BYO welcome #electronicmusic #predrinks #minirave #djnetwork #londondjs

It’s been a slow start this year, but trust us when we say there upcoming months are full of exciting activities and event programs! Our focus this year is to orient AIxDesign towards creating a safe space for exploration of AI/ML tools by and for independent creatives. Actually better than believing, here’s an introduction to the 4 programs we’ll be running 🌈 🗺 Mapping AIxDesign landscape led by Kwan Suppaiboonsuk | @kwan.supp - a collaborative workshop to map the entry points and professional opportunities in the field of AI & Design. . The first session kicked off on March 17th. 🛠 AI Tooling - a year-long program led by Yasmin Morgan | @delirious.blanc where we experiment with generative design and AI tools to support our own creative process and content creation. The results are implemented into our own communication channels and we'll share the messy and fun trial and error process of arriving there. 💡 Bottom-up Data Activism with Abdelrahman Hassan | @abdorepublic - a series of workshops where we engage in critiques of data-driven processes. We will focus on concepts of agency, privacy, and anti-hegemony, with an intersectional approach! 🧩 AI Playground with Computational Mama | @computational_mama - event series to play, build, craft and experiment with Creative AI tools and code. Through various guided workshops and talks, this series invites creatives in a playful and accessible way. AI playground offers the first steps into adopting AI into your creative practice. Big thanks to Stimuleringsfonds | @stimuleringsfonds for making this all possible! Keep an eye out and we hope to see you soon ✨ #aixdesign #2022program #aiml #generativedesign #abdohassan #aiplayground #aiharm #ainetworking #dataactivism
