![Constancy. Stability. Venerability. When I see a lot of the clubs in this community, particularly those we fight with, these three aspects are never simultaneous.
Sure, your club might never have shut down. Yes, you may have some members from your founding. And yeah, people might know who you guys are. But all three at the same time? Not likely, and definitely not easy to achieve.
But what matters isn't any of that on it's own; like the F.E.W, the devil's in the detail.
Never shutting down over 1 year is good, but try 12; that's over a decade of bonds made and goals achieved in spite of countless threats and challenges, all of which were overcome.
Retaining your founding guys isn't easy yet Devil's Few MC has more members with a decade of wearing our patch than some clubs have members with a quarter of that tenure; hell, more than some clubs even have members to begin with.
And being known is one thing but what you're known for matters. DFMC has a mixed reputation; some people love us whilst others curse our very name. We're often criticised for our bike combat or ego, but we're not known for booting people offline or relying on cheats/exploits to gain an advantage in a fight. We don't set up memorial rides or betray our friends for content.
Instead, we're known as a constancy in this community, a venerable and stable club that hasn't gone anywhere and isn't disappearing anytime soon. And we sure aren't the only one. Real recognises real ๐ป
