As we celebrate our last Misc. Monday this coming Monday, I’ve had some time to reminisce and think about these last 4.5 years. And all I can say is, bittersweet. Four years of community, culture, good music, and even better vibes. It’s sad to see this night come to an end, but I’m excited to see what’s next.

Seeing what Misc. Monday has become has been nothing short of inspiring. Every host and DJ we had along the way, and every person who walked up those stairs, helped make it what it was.

I’ll never forget Karina telling us about this opportunity Will approached her with, hosting a Monday vibe. He pitched it to her as an industry party where she could bring her friends, have some drinks, and enjoy good conversations (LOL… talk about selling a dream). I was so inspired. I told her my plan was to go so hard that by the New Year, Will would ask me to be a host too. A couple days later, I got a call from Will, and he asked me to host as well. I was elated. I messaged everyone I knew. I told them “Antonio” (my alter ego) would be present and that I would 100% be shirtless and on a table at some point. Needless to say, I kept my promise.

Week after week we ran around Apt200 like it was our home, like every guest was a guest in our house, offering drinks, checking in on new people we saw, dancing with friends and strangers. Misc. Monday was something special. It was an energy the city needed coming out of COVID. It was a space where it didn’t matter your background, how much money you had, or how rough your week was. It was a place to forget all of that and just have fun, meet new people, and enjoy good music.

I remember Will asking how our people liked it. We told him, “They either love it and want to come back every week, or they’re never coming back again because they walked away obliterated and it ruined the rest of their week.”

But that’s what Monday was all about. Why start your weekend on Friday or end it on Sunday?

Four and a half years later, here we are.

The experiences I had within those four walls are something I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life. Moments and memories that truly changed me. All I can say now is thank you.

Man where do I start?

Year 24 was easily one of the most important years of my life. Lots of ups and downs but we got through it 🫡

Built new friendships, strengthened real ones, travelled to new places, and spent meaningful time in the motherland. I got to create some unforgettable music with incredibly talented artists, be part of songwriting camps, witness amazing shows, and even be a part of them. Most importantly, I kept doing what I love the most.

This past year tested me, taught me, and shaped me in ways I didn’t expect. I went through a lot, but I learned even more — I’m carrying all of that with me into this next chapter.

Stepping into year 25 focused on becoming a better version of myself in every way.

Grateful for everyone who was part of this journey and helped make this year what it was. 🙏
