It's safe to say Kazoku Nightz is one of the most valuable hosts in the Arizona car community. They've created a space for JDM to thrive in right here in Phoenix. Ive heard so many people say they feel like they stepped into Tokyo when they go to a meet.

I genuinely get excited when they announce their next meet, and I think a lot of people would agree. They're family friendly so I can bring my daughter, and its an amazing space to hang out with like-minded people with a passion for the builds.

This is Part 1

Follow @shootwithnoot for Part 2 and comment if you see your build!

I see so many people saying you can't get good photos at car meets.. but what if the meets arent the problem?

These are my tips:
1. Change your perspective-
Look for new angles, try things you wouldn't normally try. Experimentation is the master of invention and the meet is your oyster.

2. Capture the vibe-
It can definitely be difficult photographing cars when theres a ton of people. Stop waiting around for 20 minutes while the area clears. Use long exposure to blur people while keeping the car in focus, or capture their reactions as they look at the build.

3. Find your vantage points-
Look for the spots where cars are coming in and out of the meet. This is a great place to capture them in their element. You can also search for spots where you can get wide shots that capture it all— the people, the cars, the location. Really hone in on the vibe.
