My ever growing raven art wall that began with a small @gunbaby75 piece in 2019 - 15 pieces, 11 originals from the UK, Alaska, Oregon, Utah, Louisiana- I have personal relationships with most of the artists- it’s weird that most of them face right- I wonder why that is…

Holy moly guacamole… we made some killer 🔪👻farm to table enchiladas!

Our wonderful friends hailing from Portland visited us and arrived with a bountiful box of farm fresh produce from @sauvieislandfarms, including @bellaorganicfarm and @topazfarm. What a lovely gift! Of course, it called for a Koopitz Kitchen feast.

We used local corn, beautiful purple bell peppers, patty squash, and bulked it out with some onions, garlic, black beans, and cheese from our lovely co-op. We followed recipes from the food blog goddess @feastingathome for these babies — enchilada sauce, Mexican cabbage slaw and all! Chips n dips of course!

Savory, spicy, zesty, sexy. We’re grateful for good friends and good food!

Perhaps simple… but extremely delicious.

On a hot summer’s eve, we made use of our most recent garden harvest, fresh from Olympia soils: bright, sweet tomatoes and a second crop of earthy beets. On top of our homemade sourdough, sliced and pan toasted in olive oil and garlic, we accompanied our tomatoes with some creamy Burrata cheese, purchased from our favorite local Italian joint, @fedeastoria. Garnished with some fresh basil and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. Salt and pepper to taste. We paired our tartine with a roasted beet and goat cheese salad, with pickled onions, pistachios, and butter lettuce from @blackberrybogfarm. Accompanying our fine meal, we selected a bottle of @orsifamilyvineyards wine. What a treat! Impeccable.

Tonight’s feast: a socca pizza chock full of flavor.

This chickpea flour flatbread makes an incredibly adaptable, easy, and delicious base to an array of yummy toppings. We were inspired by a recipe from the lovely @minimalistbaker. The crazy part? The whole dish was ready in under an hour. Our socca was topped with a homemade pesto, olive oil roasted garlic, delicata, tomato, portobello, and hen of the woods shrooms. Finished with hefty dollops of ricotta, Parmesan, and fresh arugula. Lemon zest was last, but most certainly not least.

Bon appétit!

This Pendant is inspired by my friend Denise. I bought a painting from her, which features the Chinese River Dolphin.
It is now extinct , and i absolutely love this painting.#pendant#jewelry#labradorite#opal#letstakecareofourearth #riverdolphin #bekind#endangeredspecies #nevadacity#grassvalley#fromstartofinish#lovewhereweliveworkandplay#riojeweler#justfinished
