June had a lot of ups and downs, but I reflected on a lot for pride month. 5 years since starting transition. 20 years since I first came out as queer. From a scared lil gay kid in the south who thought marriage would never even be an option, to a proud trans person who is surrounded by love, but tired of still fighting. I am proud though. Proud of myself, proud of my community, and so proud of all my friends who have tried to make some soft spaces in this hard world for themselves and each other. I love you so much 🥰
