Some moments remind you why timing is everything 🙏

After missing this celebration every year, I finally made it to the @lavagedelamadeleine in Paris last weekend — and it was everything I didn’t know I needed.

What hit me deepest wasn’t just witnessing this beautiful fusion of Afrobrazilian and French cultures in one sacred space. It was sharing it with Mel, my long-term friend from Rio, who came from Belgium.

We stood there — two women who’ve built lives far from where we started, carrying pieces of Brazil, Germany, France, and Belgium with us — feeling a little piece of home. Not the kind you search for, but the kind that finds you when you least expect it.

This year marks the official France-Brazil friendship celebration, but honestly? The real magic was realizing that when you’re multicultural, friendship and culture have this beautiful way of finding each other across time and distance.

For everyone navigating multiple identities and wondering where you truly belong: sometimes home shows up in the most unexpected forms, with the divine timing and in places that surprise you.

Trust the journey. Your people and your culture will find you when you need them most ✨

What’s a moment when culture and friendship collided beautifully in your life? I’d love to hear your stories 💛

Does it resonate?

If you’ve struggled to fit your life into one neat box and often feel fragmented…

Then maybe you’re ready to stop trying to fit in, and start celebrating the power that comes from being multifaceted.

Because the world doesn’t need another copy. It needs your unique combination of experiences, perspectives, and gifts.

Welcome to the Mosaic of Purpose, a space for community, where we will explore the topics of self-mastery, purpose and leadership through a creative and plural lens ✨

That smile when you’re ready to take your imagination to the next level…and CREATE. ✨

This photo, but more importantly this smile represents one of those moments for me. A snapshot that marks the launch of something that has been growing quietly for a long time and against all odds of life just ‘lifing’.

When low energy starts to be become a constant, pause, look at your circumstances and ask yourself: Am I doing my best to live aligned with my purpose?

Over time, I’ve realized every choice, every situation, every challenge, every reset – all of our experiences are like threads.

And let me tell you that the beauty of life happens when you weave those threads together into your unique creation that you share with the world.

I like to think of my multiple facets as my treasure box. A treasure box that I cherish dearly now.

Maybe today’s the day you pause just for a moment, and ask yourself: What part of me have I been keeping hidden… and what would happen if I let it flourish?

Have you already been perceived as someone scattered, but fitting into one box has never been enough for you?
Then maybe you’ll recognize yourself in what is coming.

6 YEARS OF SISTERHOOD all around the world ❤️ Self financed, no fancy promo or a team to help out - The pain of feeling lonely with no friends who can relate transformed into a vision that started a global movement in NYC in January 2019. We have now hosted in-person Meetups in Los Angeles, New York, London, Milan, Amsterdam, Zurich, Cologne, Paris, Munich, Vienna and virtually in Tokyo, Melbourne, Cape Town, Accra, Lagos & many more!!

We are so grateful for the relatable exchange of relatable experiences, the healing conversations we continue to have, the uplifting we get from being in such unique safe spaces, the relief from finally feeling understood and making lasting connections that are there beyond a hello how are you.

We are taking a chance and have booked out an entire dance studio in the heart of Berlin on JULY 12 (2-5pm) where we will hold our very first BERLIN MIXED GIRL MEETUP & Soca Dance Workshop w/ dance teacher @thepeachesxo ❤️

Do you over-explain a lot? Feel like a stranger in your hometown? Are you tired of feeling misunderstood? You find yourself on the intersection of two (or more) heritages and not being accepted by either? Then Mixed Girl Meetup is THE SPACE for you!!

What can you expect at a Mixed Girl Meetup?

- A safe space to share your experiences without feeling judged or ridiculed
- Making new friends who are also mixed
- Finding people who have been through similar things as you
- An immediate sense of relief once you realise that you can be your true self without feeling fearful
- A new sense of confidence in yourself and your authentic self
- A new community to call your own
- Emotions : have your tissues ready! Often as we share freely, sisters can burst out in tears or sadness or joy - we hold space here and comfort those that share.

All the pictures you see here are from previous Mixed Girl Meetups in cities all over the world!

Comment “Mixed Girl” and we will DM you the link to join ❤️

CAN’T WAIT TO SEE YOU!!!
