WHY BLACKLINE? Because I had a story I wanted to tell. I wanted to create something dark, violent, funny, emotional and unpredictable—but underneath all of that, a story about the choices we make and the lines we’re willing to cross. I’ve spent years building this world, writing these characters and bringing BLACKLINE: CITY OF KILLERS to life with an incredible team of artists. And now we’re here. 24 HOURS LEFT. To everyone who backed BLACKLINE, shared a post, sent me a message or told someone about this book—thank you. You helped make this happen. And if you’ve been following along but haven’t jumped in yet, this is it. 140 pages. 8 exclusive trading cards. Kickstarter-exclusive rewards. And your chance to become one of the original founders of BLACKLINE. Tomorrow, the campaign ends. But the story is just beginning. 🔥 BLACKLINE: CITY OF KILLERS — VOLUME ONE: A HERO IS BORN THE LINE IS STILL OPEN. One more day to cross it. 👉 https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/rubenjmartinez/blackline-city-of-killers-volume-1

Different from the day the project is marked "complete," shoot days are when we finally get to see and show off the full vision. The house is no longer a work in progress. It doesn't have that "just moved" in look or new paint smell. It is as it should be: relaxed, lived-in, and personalized to you.
