August still feels surreal. I went into @mr.america.global with no expectations and walked away as Mister International USA.

I started this journey to bring more Asian representation into pageantry and advocate for holistic health. Now, I’m preparing to become the first Vietnamese American to represent the USA at @officialmisterinternational 🇺🇸

So grateful for all the love and support. This is only the beginning ❤️

A moment I hadn’t shared yet from the Mister America Global stage. ✨

Strutting the evening wear runway in Kenneth Barlis, but what I remember most is looking around at the men beside me.

Every one of us brought something different to that stage—our own style, our own story, and so much thought and heart into how we showed up that evening.

Proud to have marched alongside every one of these men. Different journeys. Different reasons for being there. One stage. And a night I’ll always remember. 🖤

Watching every runway moment, every design, and the dedication behind each contestant reminded us of something we experience every day at AramKarem: our image may capture attention, but it’s our essence that truly leaves a mark.

Men or women, we all have a story, an energy, and something unique to share. Taking care of our skin, our body, and our well-being is also a way of honoring who we are and showing up as the best version of ourselves. 💜

Strength isn’t just what you lift. It’s what you can hold onto when everything in you wants to quit.

Two weeks ago I was invited back to Mr. America Global — the pageant that started it all for me — to host the first-ever Fitness Challenge. I designed it to mirror exactly what it takes to rise to the top in that competition — physical endurance, mental focus, and the will to keep going when your body wants to quit.

I put 20 guys through a park run in brutal heat, then challenged them with the hardest thing of the day — to stand still.

Whoever can hold the Tree Pose the longest wins 1-1 Coaching with me. The pose looks easy until your legs are on fire and your mind is louder than your body.

As guys started shaking and losing balance, I was in their ear — find your center, control your breathing, mind over matter. It’s funny how the quietest moments end up telling the loudest stories.

8 guys held it for 10 full minutes, fighting their way back to balance every time they nearly fell. We closed it all out with a tug of war to bring the competitive energy full circle. Every one of the 20 walked away stronger than they showed up. Proud doesn’t even cover it.

So grateful for the opportunity to come back to the pageant that gave me my start and pour into the next group of guys chasing their own.

I just want to take a moment to thank Mr. Pennsylvania and my roommate, @dennijoel_ . When I was at my lowest point in this competition, crying in our hotel room and contemplating quitting, Denni showed up for me in a way that a true brother would. He did not let me quit. He ordered me my breakfast and forced me to get ready for rehearsal. SWIPE ➡️

It goes to show that the things we work hardest for are the most challenging. We often underestimate the work it takes to get us where we want to go. A lot of give us up. I know I almost did. SWIPE ➡️

I may have lost a few titles, but I won the hearts of my brothers and that’s worth more than any competition. I’m walking away from Mr. America Global with a brotherhood of friendships that will follow me for the rest of my life. That was the purpose of this pageant for me, and I see it clearly now.

My first pageant. My first trip to Washington, D.C. And an experience I’ll never forget. 🇺🇸

I arrived not knowing what to expect and left with memories, brotherhood, and friendships I know will last far beyond the competition.

Thank you, Tony and Julio, for creating a space where men can show up, be seen, and know that their story matters.

If you’ve ever wondered, “Should I do it?” — YES. Take the chance. Show up. You never know what might be waiting for you on the other side.

It has truly been an honor to support, celebrate, and get to know such a talented, inspiring, and uplifting group of men. I came into this experience excited to support them, but I’m leaving genuinely inspired by each of them. ❤️

Congratulations to @dr.elvisnotpresley on taking home the title 👑 and to @jkphamofficial on being named runner-up! 👏🏾 But after spending time with these gentlemen, I can honestly say—they were ALL winners. The talent, confidence, kindness, camaraderie, and positive energy they brought to this experience was something special.

What a difference a day can make. 👑

Day one and two gave me more than I could possibly fit into 86 seconds. New friendships, new lessons, a few laughs, a lot of work, and memories I already know I’ll carry home with me.

There’s something surreal about watching a dream become your actual life — even when that life currently involves very little sleep. 😂

I came here representing Oregon, but I’m also here representing every version of myself that once wondered, “Will I ever get my moment?”

Well… I’m in it.

And I don’t want to miss a second of it. 💙

Day one and two, you were a lot. And you were beautiful.
