Rain or shine, Swan House never fails to make for a stunning wedding day ♥️

A beautiful wedding invites you to look. A thoughtfully designed wedding invites you to feel.

At the Atlanta History Center, ivory and soft blush blooms framed the vows of Kara and Rob at Swan House, then carried that garden romance into the reception. Lush elevated centerpieces, candlelit tables, a floral-lined stage, and a seating display of decorative plates made each part of the celebration feel connected.

Every placement had a purpose: to welcome guests into something beautiful, personal, and full of warmth, from the walk down the aisle to the last song.

Introducing at LONG last…”Macchia di Rosetto” This one is near and dear to my heart. About a year ago my son @a_shoemaker24 asked me to paint him a large triptych style painting for his office @dennisdeancatering …of course I was honored and also very intimidated! He didn’t give me much to go on, and it took me a few months to even begin this monumental project, I’ve never painted anything this large before! Anyway, Adam is the co-owner of this amazing catering company in Atlanta, he is a chef, and a level 3 sommelier with a lot of Italian influences in his food and wine knowledge. I finally had a breakthrough and knew it had to be a table! The unique thing about this piece is that it’s almost entirely collage work. The entire background is made up of vintage book pages, layered under gesso, metallic gold paint and tea to make it looked more aged! On top of all of that, I wrote a blessing for good health and abundance etc in watercolor pencil! Once the background was done, I moved onto create the rest! I hand-painted lots of papers including copy paper, deli paper, medical table paper and tissue paper! Once the papers were painted in the right colors, I began the tedious job of cutting and gluing and layering to create what you see here! The only things that are created with paint are the branches of the plants and the outline of the wine glasses! This was a true labor of love for my darling boy! The very last thing that was placed on this piece was almost dead center of the painting, and center of the middle panel…if you look closely there is a faint lipstick stain on the wineglass…my own lip stain on a piece of tissue paper, that was added to the rim of the glass…just a cheeky little annoyance of anyone in the catering biz! The name of this piece all comes down to that final touch…you see Macchia Di Rosetto is the Italian way to say lipstick stain!
💋💋💋. Love you Adam! Cannot wait to see it installed in your space #mixedmediaartist #artistofinstagram #artisresistance #mixedmediaart #iloveart

While they were making memories, I was minding every detail.

Before Michelle and Jeffrey ever stepped into their reception, I had studied every sightline, adjusted every bloom, checked every candle and made sure each place setting felt exactly right.

Because luxury isn’t only about how beautiful a room looks. It’s about the freedom to walk into it, take your new husband’s hand and be completely present for the evening you’ve waited so long to enjoy.

Let me worry about the flowers, the candlelight, the linens, the rentals and every last little detail.

Michelle and Jeffrey, your only job was to dance. 🤍

A beautiful room catches your eye. A thoughtfully designed one changes the way the entire evening feels.

Elevated garden florals drew the eye through the room. Patterned linens and glass chargers added depth and softness. Layers of candlelight made every table feel intimate and inviting.

Each detail was chosen not simply to decorate the space, but to create a sense of occasion guests could feel from the moment they entered.

Because true luxury is not about adding more. It is knowing exactly what belongs, where it belongs, and how every choice contributes to the experience.

Save this if you love wedding design that feels timeless, personal, and anything but expected.

Nestled in the backyard of an Atlanta home, this garden celebration was filled with layers of color, pattern, and thoughtful detail. Soft florals, warm wood tones, and playful touches came together to create a setting that felt right at home in its surroundings.

Michelle and Jeffrey didn’t simply want a beautiful reception. They wanted their guests to feel as though they had stepped into a joyful, flower-filled garden.

Every layer was designed with that feeling in mind, from the soft peach, butter yellow, pale blue and white blooms to the dramatic elevated floral hedge over the estate table that brought the entire Grand Overlook Ballroom to life.

And the best moment? Watching them walk into the room and experience it all for the first time. 🤍
