Colorado, you were something special. 🩷🏔️

A huge THANK YOU to the @dentalbun for bringing us together and giving me the opportunity to share, connect, and talk about MY PASSION :

When hygienists lock arms, we get stronger.🤝

Not just in business but in legislation, advocacy, education, licensing, and leadership.

Imagine 💭 a profession where hygienists across all 50 states openly share information, support one another, and work collaboratively to move the profession forward.

That’s not just a dream. It’s the goal. And it’s just the beginning. 🩷

Thank you to all of the amazing vendors who showed up and spoiled the hygienists with goodies! 🥰 @smilesipusa @elevateoralcare @perioprotect @scottenrdh

And to every hygienist who came, listened, asked questions, shared ideas, and believed in what’s possible keep showing up. Keep learning. Keep connecting. Keep building.

** If your state wants to have these conversations about business, legislation, licensing, and the real work behind building independent hygiene practices, I’d love to connect.💜

📩 Want me to come speak in your state? Send me a message.

One profession. 50 states. Let’s build together. 🩷🦷

California ☀️😎🌴-🏔️🌄Colorado:

Uniting for the Future of Independent Dental Hygiene 👯‍♀️

Two different states, one shared mission. 🔗✨
Tonight, I had the absolute pleasure of going LIVE with the amazing @dentalbun a powerhouse multi-business owner doing incredible things out in Colorado. We opened up the conversation about what it really takes to launch and run an independent dental hygiene practice, sharing my journey of building mine right here in California.

While our state regulations might look a little different, one thing is universal: collaboration strengthens our profession!! When we connect, share strategies, and lift each other up, the entire dental hygiene community wins.

Missed the live? Drop your top questions about independent practice in the comments below! 🏛️💼

Trailblazers quietly building something from nothing. There is no clear roadmap in how to open a dental hygiene practice. In a handful of states there are those few that snag the opportunity to practice at the top of their scope.

Are you curious about opening a dental hygiene practice? Do you have questions that most hygienist’s can’t answer? On June 16th I am hosting a Free LIVE Q&A with Sade Morel RDHAP- practice owner and educator. No polished answers. Just real talk about what independent practice actually looks like.

I have had hip surgery which has left my hips tight, using the saddle stool over time has reduced that tightness in my hips which has helped my lower back pain.

Saddle Chair Benefits that I have experienced with my new QAC by crown seating:

1. Less neck pain
2. Less lower back pain
3. Reduced hip pain

You have to ease into using your stool and select the right one that fits your hip width. I used it for a few hours a day and gradually went to a full day. It does take time for your spine and muscles to adjust to their new job, BUT you’re aligning your spine in it’s natural position and activating muscles that use to be passive. You may experience some fatigue initially but your body will thank you for switching to a saddle stool later.

Part 2– The problem with the girls

Having a saddle stool hasn’t solved all my bad habits but I am working on correcting them each day.

It has been a process to get comfortable on my saddle. You have to ease into using it each day. I had wonderful teachers that helped guide me during this process and I will share that with you in Episode 3.
