🐾 Last night, DFH celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Denton Animal Support Foundation!🎉

Did you know Freedom Food Pantry partners with @dentonanimals ?!
Each month, they donate thousands of pounds of pet food for us to provide to our pet-owner clients. ❤️

When times are hard, our clients’ pets feel it too. We’re so grateful DASF helps us care for the whole family—two-legged and four-legged!🐶🐱🤍

Happy 20th, DASF! 🎉🐾

Come on down! The Price Is Right is taking over Harvest House and it’s all for a good cause!

Join us Sunday, September 13 at 7pm as Kenny Davis hosts with the Basically Basic Big Band!! Expect big-wheel spins, Plinko, fun prizes, plenty of laughs, and your chance to show off those questionable pricing skills.

We’re raising money for the Denton Animal Support Foundation, so coming out to play helps support local animals in need.

Meet today’s lucky trail dogs, they got to stretch their legs, sniff the fresh air, and enjoy a little adventure. But what they really want is a forever family to share every day with.

They’re tired of seeing only us… they’re ready to wake up to their own humans, give all the love they’ve been saving, and finally go home.

These sweet pups are available now and waiting for you to find them. Your new best friend might be right here. 💛

🐶⚽ DOG Squad World Cup Update! ⚽🐶

We’re excited to share some amazing news about our Dog Squad team!
🏆 Two of our players have found their Home Teams… WOW, what incredible news! They are now enjoying a team full of love, care, and happiness. ❤️

⚽ Two more of our players have been signed by a rescue team that will help them find their perfect Home Team. This is a temporary transfer, but we know their forever match is coming soon!

💛 Our oldest player is now on loan to a Foster Team, where she’s taking a well-deserved break from the stress and noise of the shelter environment. We’re hoping this foster team decides to make her a permanent signing!

📣 The World Cup is getting closer, and we’re still looking to match the rest of our players with their perfect Home Teams.

⚽🐾 Come meet the rest of our squad—we can’t wait to share more happy updates with you!

Our Memorial Weekend was full of wonderful visits with the dogs at the shelter 🇺🇸

We had people come on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, an amazing turnout for us and most importantly, for the dogs. They absolutely light up when they get outside; it’s incredible to see how much they shine with just a little attention and fresh air. ♥️

A few lucky pups were adopted on Saturday, but many are still waiting for their forever homes. 😢

Come meet them at the shelter, you’re guaranteed to fall in love.💜

Check out the dogs’ details in the link below!

This week, we took some of the sweet @dentonanimalservices pups out on the trail for sunshine, fresh air and a little adventure ☀️🐶🌿. Most of them are still waiting for their forever families and they’re hoping today is the day someone stops by and falls in love ❤️.

With the first weekend of summer vacation here 🌞, it’s the perfect time to bring a rescue dog home. Those first days of patience, comfort, and routine help them settle in beautifully 🏡💛.

You can truly make a difference — be the reason a rescue dog gets a second chance 🌍🐾.

Come visit them at the shelter and let your heart choose 💕.
Not ready to adopt? Fostering gives a dog a much‑needed break from the shelter and changes their whole world ✨🐕.

🐾❤️ Adopt. Foster. Share. Every action matters

Yesterday I had the opportunity to visit the dogs at the Hickory Creek Animal Shelter just to say hi and take them out for a walk 🤍🐾
All four adoptable dogs did amazing on the leash! They had so much fun being outside, feeling the grass, exploring new smells, and even posing for a few pictures 📸 It was such a joy to see them enjoying those simple moments.
The longest residents, Bandit and Bowie, are still waiting for their forever homes, along with these sweet pups:

Bandit – female, adult (at the shelter since April 2)
Bowie – male, adult (since April 2)
Rooster – male, adult (since April 27)
Ginger – female, adult (since May 12)

If you’re thinking about adopting, please consider stopping by to meet them 💕 They’re all ready for love, companionship, and a place to call home.#

🚨🐾 Weekend Dog Walks & Foster Call 🐾🚨

This past weekend we were able to take some of the City of Denton Animal Shelter dogs out on the trail and they were overjoyed to be outside! Even though Sunday was Mother’s Day, spending time with them was such a gift.💝

❗️Sadly, the shelter has seen an increase in upper respiratory infections (URI) and several dogs are sick. To help stop the spread, the shelter is urgently looking for foster families who can provide a safe space away from the shelter, even if only for a couple of days.🚨

If you’re able to open your home temporarily, it would mean the world to these pups. 💕

This weekend the City of Denton Animal Shelter was very busy but we still made time to take some dogs out on the trail 🐕🌲

We spent our time with the dogs who were not lucky enough to find a home during the weekend events 💔 They needed us and we were there for them ❤️

They had so much fun experiencing a change of scenery enjoying the outdoors sniffing around and receiving lots of love and attention ☀️🐾🥰

Please take a look at the dogs currently available at the link below 👀🐶

Let’s share this post so they can find their forever homes 🏡❤️
