It’s the little things in life.

We have fun together.

We cheer each other on.

We sit and talk after class.

We truly do enjoy spending time with one another.

It really is so beautiful.

Teachers (aka beautiful humans and friends) who take classes with one another and with this amazing community and absolutely love doing so.

It’s really special.

There is so much LOVE in this space.

Come experience it for yourself!

This weekend was… honestly, so special. Yoga led by the amazing Olivia, a hike at Rockledge Park, sunshine, and super special humans all in one place.

What I loved most was the time. In the studio, everything moves fast.. class, quick hugs, short chats, then everyone rushes off to real life.

But this was different. We had hours together. Space to slow down, notice, get curious, walk, talk, laugh, breathe.

And I learned things about people I’ve known for years. Things that made me go, “how did I not know this about you?” I literally said that several times.

Things that make them feel alive and enthusiastic.. What they do for fun. Their families, their work, their goals. It felt so good to just be curious about each other again.

It reminded me how much connection happens when we’re not rushing. When we’re side by side, moving through nature, letting conversations happen just as they will...

And now I’m convinced: hiking with friends needs to be a thing. Maybe once a month or every other month.. nothing fancy, just us, outside, being humans together.

My heart is full. And I’m really for the next one.

This is experience is proof that nature, movement and connection truly nourishes the heart and soul… and here are just a few moments from the day that brought so much joy. ❤️

What happens when a few girls from your ZTA pledge class get together 40 years later? We pick up right where we left off… and take lots of pics to prove it. 🤍📸

Same laughter. Same bonds. Just a few more stories to tell. Grateful for these girls then… and even more now. 🤍

Today has been really great.

Woke up to another day.
Saw the sunrise.
Laughed with my kiddos on the way to school.
Checked in with the hubs, my dad and friends.
Moved my body. Sweated.
Practiced next to people who inspire me, led by the amazing Olivia.
Shared laughs with this beautiful community.
Had lunch with an incredible human.
And… there are still hours left in this day.

When we write out the things that unfold in our lives, we realize it was never just one win. It was many. It was all of them. The small moments weren’t small at all.

Perspective brings meaning.
Meaning shapes everything.

Write out your list. Notice the moments that carried you from one thing to the next. Let them matter. Let this become a daily practice.

Life is happening in the in‑between and it’s really, really great.

Christmas Eve at Ignyte 🎄

What a gift it was to spend this morning moving, laughing, and celebrating together. You all bring so much joy into the studio and we are grateful for every bit of it.

Wishing you the most wonderful Christmas Eve! May it be full of love, light, and rest. ✨

And yes… we had to take one last picture with our Favorite Santa 🎅.

See you right back here the day after Christmas!

I loved how @depowter incorporated blocks into today’s flow.. ☺️

Here’s my favorite way to enter Eight Angle: start in Compass and use blocks for a little extra height.

Blocks can make this transition more accessible if you’re trying it for the first time.

Getting that “backpack leg” as high on your shoulder as your body allows will help this transition feel smoother and more fun.

🎗️Remember:
• Hands on blocks by your hips
• Hips go back before they go up
• Squeeze the arm + straighten your legs
• Lean forward with elbows slightly bent
• Don’t look down — gaze forward to stay balanced

Warm up your hips + hamstrings, and stay steady with your breath. Pull your lower belly in for support, and tag me if you try!

Special thanks to our beloved @ignyteyoga teachers @depowter, @coach_jeannygfit and @christiecheney.yoga.love for trying with this transition with me 💛
