Couldn't wait for Black Friday, had to do some early holiday shopping. We're very luck to welcome two outstanding new films to the O-Scope family.

Carolina Cavalli's debut feature AMANDA and Ryan Stevens Harris’s MOON GARDEN are both so special and unique and pure O-Scope. Stay tuned for more info. Coming in 2023!

“For sheer visuals and atmosphere, [Moon Garden] is a feast which combines the imagery of ’90s industrial goth rock videos (think Tool and Nine Inch Nails) with a wondrous . . . fairy tale narrative. It’s the sort of balance that Neil Gaiman – and almost nobody else – routinely manages.”

Blessed to read an incredible review by film critic Luke Thompson at Cinegods

“Shot entirely on expired 35mm film found in a basement, this effects-heavy film amazingly features no CG, but rather heavy use of miniatures and optical tricks. It feels at times like watching a magic show – you sort of think you might know how the trick was done, but then it pulls out a new angle and you’re pleasantly stumped. Maybe some sorcery was involved, after all.”

“Moon Garden effectively creates a nightmarish world of childhood innocence and imagination . . . it’s ‘The Wizard of Oz’ meets ‘It’ with the visual panache of Tim Burton as Harris takes us on a journey between dual worlds: sleep and wakefulness; childhood and adulthood; darkness and light.”

Blessed to read an incredible review by journalist and film critic Loren King
