So how was our release show?? The room at @nublunyc was filled with people who showed us lots of love, an amazing team came together to help us capture the moment, and we were able to do the best thing as musicians — just flow with the music and be in the moment. What an incredible set by @metamorfo.nyc banda, salsa, cumbia everyone wanted to stay and dance!! And the biggest bear hug to an amazing group of musicians who have been in it with us and rocked out on an opening set that was frankly hard (and exciting) to follow — @deraizband led by @ricardo.deraiz — thanks for being on this adventure with us!!! Thanks to the team at @jalopy_records for helping us get Vol. 1 out! As always, sending you all lots of love from very full hearts. Thanks to everyone who has come see shows in their city, got a CD and merch, imparted their wisdom, shared the odd or specific compliment, and shared their good energy with us dancing and vibing to the music. Ok thats enough I’m gonna tear up! 🌹🌹🌹

Their album ‘Guachinangos Vol. 1’ is a powerful collaboration between artists with roots in the U.S. and Latin America, dedicated to the many maestros that have kept folk music traditions alive through the centuries and in their diaspora. Great for singing and dancing, there’s a little something for everyone here! They will be joined by @deraizband and @metamorfo.nyc to make this a night you seriously don’t want to miss!!
